Honestly, for a first date, I would prefer to go somewhere quiet so that we would have the opportunity to talk and get to know each other. The place doesn't really matter. Born in the burbs, moved to the city as soon as humanly possible when I was 20. Absolutely love the city. Live a block from the beach and have an amazing view of downtown and the lake. Couldn't ask for more. I don't own a car (used to, sold it--kind of pointless) and like to wander around and see what's going on. I'm pretty open and never been accused of being shy--however, that said, ironically if i'm interested in someone, for some reason i become real shy lol. But, short lived.
