I derive a lot of joy out of life's simple pleasures. Good food and conversation and fiercely loyal friends make up the core of my existence. I am direct and I speak my mind. Laughing is second nature for me and I have a big, bold, contagious laugh. I'm not afraid of much which either makes me very brave or stupid and sometimes it might be a little of both.I'm an active volunteer with a no kill cat rescue so you must either like cats or animals in general, and I have a full time job. I have family responsibilities that extend to my parents. I have no children and do not want to have any of my own which doesn't rule out single dads, I just need to be clear that if you're looking to begin a family then I'm not the woman for you. I appreciate the arts, nature, wildlife, and prefer the company of friends in a more intimate setting over large crowded venues for the chance to truly enjoy the people I'm with.I'm at the point in my life where I want to build my life to include a good man in a healthy relationship with me; full of fun, affection, laughter, respect, loyalty, creativity, and social awareness with someone who respects me and themselves and the world around us. Clubbing and bars and partying do not attract me. Conversation, sharing experiences and little moments do.Life has a lot built into it; a man who can handle it in a healthy and productive, mature manner and who respects my personality and person is desired. Laughter and wit is a must. There is no one size fits all date, but I do think that all first dates should be about conversation and that initial first in person impression.
