About me: I'm a single mom, who works ***hours most weeks and keeps her son busy with cello, Boy Scouts and baseball. So, as you can see my free time is limited and valuable, which means I don't want to waste it. However, I do love a good time...from going dancing to hanging out with friends enjoying a good meal to taking in live music or sports to a lazy kayak trip to catching a play or the latest scifi. As for food, I'll try anything once; however I really don't care for beef. I believe learning and being active keeps you young and though my body will age so long as I am engaged my spark will shine. I think life is a grand adventure and better when shared. I think that the worst feeling in the world is being with someone and feeling completely alone and the best feeling is knowing you're not alone even when you're continents apart. About you: Well, you're a hands on man with old school charm and a quick wit who is not afraid to get dirty, but loves a good Jazz club...you enjoy quiet canoe rides or an evening on a sail boat lost at sea...you can find your way through Istanbul and not feel lost. You will tell me exactly what you think even when it's not what I want to hear. You will open my car door because you want to not because I can't and you'll understand that weakness is telling lies because you can't face the truth. You love a good read and a great ball game (which I want to share with you, because I love sports). You have your own interests and understand my need to have mine. You believe in partnership and equity in a relationship and you're willing to give what you want to get. You know that putting me first does not mean putting yourself last and that a real relationship is built on compromise, trust, open communication, respect, appreciation, grace and forgiveness.
