I’m a single mom who has raised two great sons! My boys are the light of my life! One of them is in college and the other isn't far off from graduating high school. I've been so busy raising them I haven't stopped to think about myself. As for who I am, I consider myself an honest person. I will be the first to say that I am not perfect. I love my life...I have the job of my dreams (yes, I do have some days I'm ready to go home at the end of my shift...), I got to be a stay at home mom when it counted the most, I am independent, and I have great family and friends. I consider myself a "dork/geek" who likes joking around with family/friends. I also like romance, holding hands, kissing and snuggling. Let's laugh together! Meeting someone would be nice but it is not what is necessary to make me smile every day (but a smile for and from that special someone would be nice!) I would love to meet someone who would like to hang out at the high school basketball games, hike, and BBQ. I like camping but I would prefer a cabin or a camper even though I grew up tent camping. and you can often catch us throwing out quotes from those movies cuz "Goonies never say die!" It would be nice to meet someone who can introduce me to new things, break me from my comfort zone (i.e. skiing, hiking a fourteener, traveling) I like to sit and enjoy coffee and conversation with someone who can make me laugh and that I can laugh with...someone who doesn't mind that I'm a dork and that I like to sing in the car and watch reality TV. I like to do projects around the house (I have done a lot and learned a lot...I can tile a floor, *** toilet and sink, etc. my neighbor just taught me how to ***, and I have done some minor landscaping...oh and I have done baseboards too!) I guess I'm just looking for my best friend!

Ok, If I were helping one of my friends write this for themselves, I'd have no trouble but writing it for me, well that's another story..... At 41 I find myself in that position of feeling too old for the club scene and when I do go out, it's with one of my married girlfriends for dinner. I'm also very busy with work committments so that limits my time too.I am thoughtful and considerate and love laughing, even at myself. I love retelling a great story from my past and I enjoy hearing other's stories too. I'm a huge sports fan, in almost every category, although still trying to get on board with soccer. My music interests are really all over the board, although mostly I listen to WEEI. I am well traveled and looking to do more. I don't have any childern, nor do I aspire to have any childern but adore having my two nephews - really is there a better job than an Aunt?Obviously there's more I could share with you now but really, gotta save a few things to talk about right.
