I am an easy-going, down-to-earth, fun gal. I love life and seeing what each day brings. I am determined to have fun in every situation, and my friends enjoy coming along for the ride. I can be shy in new situations, but warm up pretty quickly. I love all kinds of animals and hate to see suffering. I am open-minded and non-judgemental, and I like to learn at every opportunity. I am loyal, and would never betray someone I care about. I have goals in life, but know how to be content in the present. I love to laugh, and am good at laughing at myself.I am looking for someone who takes life as it comes and enjoys the journey. Someone who knows how to find happiness and fun in most every situation. I love learning, and would like someone who can share their experiences and lessons with me, and with whom I can share mine. I am looking for someone adventurous, who wants to see what life has to offer. I appreciate a person with ambition, as long as they are able to be happy in the present. I hope to find someone loyal, someone who I can trust completely. I like people who don't take themselves too seriously, and don't let the little things in life get them down. I think a good conversation is a great way to spend some time, so that ability is a plus. Most of all, I am looking for a nice guy, someone honset, sincere, and with a good heart. Is that you? One more little thing; I am a woman of my word. If I say I am going to do something, I do it. If I say I am going to be somewhere or call at a particular day or time, I will. I think to act otherwise is disrespectful. I'm looking for a man of his word. I understand that things come up and life can get in the way on occasion, as long as unreliability isn't a habit or way of life. A few more things; I am 5'10" barefoot, and I usually wear heels, so I am at least 6' tall in public. My stated age is correct. I have consistently been told I don't look my age. I know I don't feel my age (I feel like I'm about 30). And while I am a very responsible person and can be serious when necessary, I prefer not to act my age (or at least how most people believe someone my age should act). Life is to have fun, and I intend to do that every step of the way. :) Also, if you do illegal drugs (and, yes, "420" is an illegal drug) please don't waste my time or yours by contacting me; because of my profession I can't be around that, and because of my beliefs (I have lost innocent friends to those situations) I refuse to be around someone who uses them. Intelligence is a wonderful thing, and I am aware that many intelligent people don't have a great deal of formal education. However, if you don't know the difference between "it's" and its", "their" "they're" and "there", "too", "to" and "two", or "women" and "woman" (yes, it seems men often make that mistake), or are unaware/unable to use the shift key or punctuation on their keyboard, I'm not interested; the way a person presents themself in writing (or typing, as with this online dating thing) speaks much about their intelligence and their respect for the english language. And if you're not interested in anything serious--and I understand these things can take time, but eventually develop--please don't waste our time; I hope to find someone to share my life with in a meaningful manner and am not interested in spending precious time (I believe time is the most precious thing in life) with someone who is only looking for something casual (I don't believe in casual relationships or casual sex--I'd rather spend my time alone). And, if you have children, that's wonderful, but I may not be the woman for you; I understand that children should come first in their parent's life, but I don't have any, and am not willing--at this point--to be a low priority in my partner's life. I'm more than happy to make my partner a major priority in my life and desire the same in return.I am someone who will jump into a situation or relationship with both feet. I am not a serial dater and don't play games. If you are someone who plays around or is looking for something casual, please look elsewhere. I have run into too many players claiming to be nice guys, and don't want to go through that again. I wear my heart on my sleeve and am not shy about showing my feelings. I am open and ready for that truly wonderful guy to come into my life. I am looking for my one great love to spend the rest of my life with. The usual coffee meeting just seems too much like an interview or audition. Happy hour, a glass of wine, lunch, dinner, just seem like better opportunities to get to know someone.

    I am new to this way of meeting guys, so as much as I'd like to pride myself in *** skills and quick wit, all I'm coming up with here is a nervously written run- Well, ok, now that I got that slice of truth out of the way: 1. I'm amazed you are still reading. 2. I will try not to bore us both into an involuntary nod off. I moved here last year to attend grad school putting my fine art career on hold for now. My life has been consumed with school and work. School was a practical move once I realized that art is not in the food, clothing, shelter categories and not everybody needs nor desires large scale abstract art, even though I think we all would be better off with it. Art isn't the easiest career path, in case, you haven't gotten that memo. I don't have a studio at the moment, so I have been writing screenplays and a collection of short stories. I've been working as a commercial painter and have never been happier that I received a certification to operate a lift a few years back while painting a 50 foot exterior mural. Had no idea how handy that would be. There is nothing too creative or intellectually stimulating about this line of work, but, it pays the bills and I save on gym membership fees. I was a Project Manager for a season and did really enjoy that. Humor and good wit are priorities for me and have no desire to spend time with very serious, mean people. I love walking, biking, and any sport that involves water, hitting thrift shops, unique stores and sometimes drive around looking at historic architecture. What else do I do? Shop for clothes, talk to my amazing friends scattered all over the country, read, watch movies and considered putting sleep down in my, "Interests" section. Yes, I'm an exciting one. A real pistol of spunk. Precisely why I chose, "rockstar" to describe my personality. Other people who do not know my sleeping habits, tell me that. Thank you for reading about me.
