About Me

I am looking for someone different...someone who doesn't necessarily have a Harley, or is the biggest Packers fan....someone who might like hunting or fishing but also loves the arts...and cities, with a nod to the country from time to time...I enjoy exercise, movies, music, and spending time with my daughter and friends. I would love to learn to play an *** enjoy dancing. I also like traveling and visiting museums. Someday I would like to learn how to sail and to have and raise a dog. :-) I really like learning about the world and meeting new people. I am outgoing and love to travel. I hope someday I will know another language fluently. I have studied french, spanish, and italian... I am a compassionate and accepting person. I believe we should be kind to all those we meet because each of us has our own struggles in life. I try to be empathetic to others. I am a liberal politically but do not care much for politics. I do not go to church but I do believe in positive energy-living it and passing it on. I do get stressed out sometimes though-have been known to yell at someone on the road from the safety of my enclosed car. I accept that I am not perfect but strive to be nonetheless...I LOVE music and listen to many types. I do not care for modern country, hair rock, or opera too much. I also do not like screaming in music or offensive rap music. But for the most part music really hits my soul deeply...I am looking to meet a friend, a companion who loves life and wants to live it to the fullest...together. I think first dates should be simple-good food and time to talk and get to know one another.

    I have learned recently that you only get one chance in this life~~and it's time to start living. I am interested in meeting new people, finding new hobbies, and trying new things in life. I love to listen to music and my tastes there are wide-ranging (country and 80's are at the top of the list), watch sports (Sundays are meant for football, right?), and spend time in my kitchen. I'm about being real and honest: life is too short for BS and falseness. I also believe that while physical attraction is important, the mental attraction is just as important: I love good conversation as well as just sitting in the silence to enjoy someone's company. I may not be "Barbie", but I have a lot to offer the right person :) I'm not looking for a quick hook-up and dash, despite what my profile picture portrays, so if that is what you are looking for, happy fishing!! A first date for me would be a fun day or evening doing silly fun things; going to the zoo, a day at the fair or an amusement park, or a simple picnic in a nice park somewhere. A first date would be one that includes lots of chatter, lots of laughs, an enjoyable time getting to know someone :)
