Hobbies - play pool, read, watch movies, spend time with family, friends and alone.Goals - try to update my house and maintain the yard and landscape. Maybe a weird goal, but some people don't care about these things or get lazy. Trying to embrace a healthier lifestyle and it is definitely a goal.About me - I enjoy making others laugh, but I am also a serious person. I like to meet up with friends and have a few drinks and dinner. I am a girly, girl... like I want to have my nails painted and enjoy wearing makeup and dolled up. I like wine as well. But on the other end of who I am.. I will totally put on sweat pants, baseball cap and no makeup and go to the store. I will drink Coors Light from a can or a bottle. I am not that picky or high maintenance.Music - mostly enjoy today's country music, if listening. Country music brings me peace, I think this is why I enjoy it most. I do like dancing, and therefore I like pop music too. I also like rock n roll... Years ago would attend the annual Ozzfest. Some of the music was more than I would prefer tho. I do appreciate Audioslave, Soil, Stone Temple Pilots, to mention a few.Overall - I think to myself that dating had evolved so much. Both male and female are not the same as what we would have expected years ago... matter of fact, years ago we would not be on this site searching for someone of interest. I think dating is hard to do. I do have high expectations and think the man should be just that, The Man and want to take care of his girl, but also he should relax a little and let her try to do things for him too without getting upset. I think that when you are dating at age 40, you need to have a very open mind. You need to remember that at this age, people are more set in their ways. Just relax... and know that dating is about learning about each other. Time will tell if two people are really compatible.
