I have been on meetville for quite sometime now and I must say I have come across some very interesting people (if you know what I mean). My profile states "looking for a relationship" not a "sexual encounter" so if that's your only intention than please don't waste your time, read no further. I believe every relationship is built on a foundation, friendship being the start of the foundation.     This is very new to me. I am just looking to meet someone, become friends and then see what happens from there. I miss the beach but am glad to be home. I have not really met alot of people since I've been back. I love to cook. I also enjoy anything to do with water. Whether it's a day at the beach, lake or pool or even a nice bubble bath! I was really skeptical of this site in the beginning. Being new to the area, it helped me meet alot of people. Most of which were only interested in one thing. I blamed it on the age. Since then, I have come to realize, age has nothing to do with it! And I've actually made several good friends in the process. But I am ready for a serious long term relationship. I'm not expecting it to happen overnight and I do not want to rush in to anything.     I have been to 49 of the 50 states. Hopefully get to the last one someday. I enjoy travel whether its a couple hour road trip or cross country adventure. I would love to someday travel to Europe and Scandanavia. The only foreign countries I have been to are in North or Central America. I am a trivia wizard, basically useless information sticks in my brain for some reason. Not very helpful in life but a trivia game or game show I'd be great!! I am not the kind of person who needs to have someone in her life but I would love to have someone to do things with and possibly turn into something more. I have a 13 year old son who is more independent everyday and I've started to realize I focused so much on him I didn't have much of a social life so I've been changing that.I want to meet new people but don't do the bar scene much and think its best not to get too friendly with co-workers so I'm trying this to make some new friends or more. I am not looking for a husband, don't need someone to take care of me, looking for a partner to have a good time and see where it goes. I will actually read your profile not just make decisions based on pictures which tell us nothing about each other except maybe that I usually keep myself behind the camera shooting the action so I frequently look surprised when someone takes a picture of me. My taste in music runs the gamut but don't listen to much country or rap but tell me about music you love, I am always up for finding new music enjoy. I admit an affection for alternative 80's as that is the era I grew up in, also really like most rock and punk. I find it strange to put lots of specific requirements of what I'm looking for and will find it strange if you have them. In reference to the kids questions I have one and don't have an issue with dating someone with kids but am not planning on making anymore. You never know a person just by one thing so don't disqualify them or have them discount you based on superficial reasons.
