Hi there!! I hope the pond has been treating you well :) Another fabulous fall is upon us, my favorite season, bring on the snuggles!! ;) lol take the time to enjoy!Ok here I go...about me...as described by friends "kind, passionate about life and the people in it, generous, thoughtful, sensitive if you get to know her"...there is one there if you look..sure sh*t happens, but it often makes us stronger and we might actually learn a lesson or two from it. So what makes me tick.. enjoy cooking and eating, always best when shared with someone special.....there is something to be said about a man comfortable in the kitchen....nice very nice ;), sharing time and experiences with someone who shares similar thoughts and ideas. No fear in doing my own thing, but so much better when enjoyed by two. I enjoy checking out something new. Love being outdoors playing team sports, camping (yes...with a tent) or sitting around a campfire with friends sharing a cool beverage. I also love to visit new areas checking out local wares and treasures and fortunately just as comfortable in the formal arena ....what a joy to be able to enjoy the variety life brings!Keeping active is important...so I can enjoy great food and beverages when the mood strikes ;) Love team sports..the days of competitive sports have grown into quality times enjoying sports with good friends...a great game is always best reviewed over a cold beverage afterwards. I have recently joined the local gym and pleasantly surprised how much I enjoy it going at least 3x/week. Trying to be healthy is important to me but I am far from a health nut ;)! Most importantly staying healthy and active to enjoy fun times with my two boys. Yes, staying at home and catching a movie with a glass of wine is nice...but not a homebody. I enjoy going out to meet people, having friends in, checking out community activities (it never fails to amaze me how much we have going on in our own backyard and we rarely check it out), even going for a walk somewhere new. Doesn't need to be glamorous or even glorious, just interesting.I am guilty of helping others...one of my true life loves...will drop things to help out a friend or family member. Glory is not my thing, just to be there and offer support when needed is all I need.Love to laugh (yes, I am almost always smiling), can't tell a joke to save my life, but willing to keep trying :)poor you. Don't ask me to sing or play *** I am happy to listen and cheer others on! A good beat goes a long way! I love all kinds of music if it is good, a little bit of everything. Hobbies - play pool, read, watch movies, spend time with family, friends and alone.Goals - try to update my house and maintain the yard and landscape. Maybe a weird goal, but some people don't care about these things or get lazy. Trying to embrace a healthier lifestyle and it is definitely a goal.About me - I enjoy making others laugh, but I am also a serious person. I like to meet up with friends and have a few drinks and dinner. I am a girly, girl... like I want to have my nails painted and enjoy wearing makeup and dolled up. I like wine as well. But on the other end of who I am.. I will totally put on sweat pants, baseball cap and no makeup and go to the store. I will drink Coors Light from a can or a bottle. I am not that picky or high maintenance.Music - mostly enjoy today's country music, if listening. Country music brings me peace, I think this is why I enjoy it most. I do like dancing, and therefore I like pop music too. I also like rock n roll... Years ago would attend the annual Ozzfest. Some of the music was more than I would prefer tho. I do appreciate Audioslave, Soil, Stone Temple Pilots, to mention a few.Overall - I think to myself that dating had evolved so much. Both male and female are not the same as what we would have expected years ago... matter of fact, years ago we would not be on this site searching for someone of interest. I think dating is hard to do. I do have high expectations and think the man should be just that, The Man and want to take care of his girl, but also he should relax a little and let her try to do things for him too without getting upset. I think that when you are dating at age 40, you need to have a very open mind. You need to remember that at this age, people are more set in their ways. Just relax... and know that dating is about learning about each other. Time will tell if two people are really compatible.
