I'm not interested in hanging around the produce section at the market (points if you like to do laundry and/or grocery shop) nor returning to college for the sake of meeting someone. As an only child, my parents are very important to me. My parents have been married (happily???) for over 50 years. I feel really lucky to have had a loving supportive life with my family, and have been able to build a career that I truly enjoy. I crave the outdoors, and spend as much time outside doing something active as I possibly can. I ride a bike a lot (cross country and downhill mtn biking, and road), x-country/downhill skiing and snowshoeing in winter, and a lot of walking my dog. I'm a big animal lover, dogs in particular, and I have a lovely 6 yr old pup that goes with me everywhere. I enjoy time with good friends, cooking or watching films or just really good conversation. I tend to be more on the shy side, to be honest, but certainly appreciate a good sense of humour and don't mind being surrounded by the gregarious types. I love music, play percussion as an amateur (ie. in my own home or jamming with friends), and I have music on in every environment I'm in if I have a choice. I read when I can, and like to cook, and enjoy new adventures. I spend a lot of time at my place in Collingwood, fixing up my house (which I love doing) and playing on the Escarpment.I want to be around people who are authentic, and know who they are.
