Woman. 45 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 42-52
Hello. Thank you for stopping by. Thought I would see who is out there looking, like I am, for that special someone. Im looking for someone who is honest, has integrity and values. Yes, he has to have a job and a good work ethic. His mother taught him to say please and thank you and he expects to open a door for a woman. I am a strong woman, I have taken care of myself for a long time. I want man that is comfortable with that. Make me laugh! What ever happened to romance? Now a little about myself. I have a strong work ethic no matter what I am doing. I'm a conservative and firmly believe that although we may all need a hand up at some time in our life, I do not believe in hand outs. I'm proud to be an American and truely appreciate our men and women in our Armed Forces that keep this country strong. I have an easy going personality and like to laugh. I'm organized and keep a clean house. I am a very social person and I like to entertain. I'm a country girl at heart. I love to cook and garden. Nothing like cooking with fresh veggies and herbs straight from the garden. I prefer savory to sweet. I do not have children. I am loved by one very spoiled Bullmastiff. He is a very good boy and we enjoy hiking together. I love to camp and fish. I am most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt but I do own a little black dress and I think I clean up pretty nice. My friends tell me I'm a nurturer. I enjoy taking care of my special someone and doing little things for them. I guess I have blathered on enough on here. If you like what you read and you are interested in chatting, drop me a line and lets see where it goes!

Woman. 43 years old. Zodiac sign: Cancer.
Looking for: man. In age: 40-50
I'm a sunny Midwestern transplant with AWD who is looking for a fellow explorer with good mountain skills and gear. BYO canine companion.; I've not looked back.I love change. From new cities to new hair cuts to new professions. I am a medical social worker who has spent the majority of my career working with cancer patients. A few years ago, I decided to pursue a long-time dream of nursing school. After pre-requisites, night classes, clinical rotations on the weekends, and a board exam, I am excited to begin working as an oncology nurse. My career path has afforded me a unique perspective. My patients have taught me how to appreciate the little things. Bike rides past wild flowers. The way that butter melts into the crevices of a hot English muffin. A beautiful sunset. They've reminded me to leap. And to take big bites. Some days I'm better at these things than others. I'm a "J" on the Myers-..I hike, work in my yard and on my house, spend time with my dog (an ***year old yellow lab I rescued almost four years ago), haunt the farmers' markets, and hostess dinner parties. And I want to read and write more now that I'm done with school. I'm also constantly trying to perfect my grandma's biscotti recipe; cinnamon pecan is the most recent flavor added to my repertoire. I recently finished a kitchen/laundry remodel - incredibly traumatic! - so cooking, baking and hostessing are becoming a lot more fun. Life is better with a dishwasher. You? You're a guy who's happily busy but happy to share time with someone. You follow up with conversation and not a text message. And you spend regular time outdoors. You put your hand on the small of my back when we're navigating a crowded room, and you walk me to my car when we part ways at night. You'd really win me over if you scraped my windshield on snowy mornings (especially since I don't have a garage!). You challenge me intellectually; our conversations fill my cup. We can agree to disagree, and we learn and grow as a result of knowing each other. You understand my imperfections, and you accept me in spite of them. You are someone who does what you say you’re going to do. You have integrity. You step up. You are honest and honorable, and you have a gentle soul and a kind heart. Put simply, you are a grown-up, a man. I am looking for someone who is in a healthy place physically, mentally, emotionally, professionally, financially and spiritually. It's okay if you share your life with big dogs and/or kids. Also, it would be great if you were handy; I live in a ***year old house! I've done on-line dating on/off over the years. I have found that I prefer something very casual for a first date: meeting for a coffee or glass of wine or maybe a dog walk.
