Hi there! If you quote Anchorman on a semi-regular basis, I already like you, lol. People usually find me amusing and energetic, I love to laugh and find small things exciting more than most, lol. A sense of humor is absolutely key. I like people who are always looking for the humor in life's situations - um, how else does one cope, I've never understood ;). If it wasn't such a chicken and could take rejection better I would have tried to do stand up! I can be a leader or a team player depending on the situation, easy to get along with in most situations. I am very compassionate and care if someone does not feel like the fit in, I will always try to make them comfortable. I always feel younger than I am on paper and I have told I am 'young at heart' and 'life of the party' quite often... I LOVE all types of music. I do have my deep, serious, analytical side that counter balances my fun loving tendancy as well. I am past the drunk every weekend scene (sadly, it hurts waaay too much, lol), but am definitely not uptight. I still love to dance and to be social! I went roller skating on my 34th birthday, if that's any indication... Ultimately, I am really looking for a playmate, a partner in crime. Someone who has my back, gets my sense of humor and wants the traditional American dream I guess... the white picket fence with the family, but a less corny, more warped version, ha! I have had several long term relationships in my life, but have never quite found the right match to make that commitment of the 'rest of my life' with. It's not a decision one should take lightly, even if I am one to lighten things up most of the time ;).I have entered into the healing/holistic realm the last few years and have my own massage business that I operate part time right now. My goal is to be able to do it full time! I love it so far and know I have made the right decision to pursue the healing arena. It is kind of a higher purpose thing for me and I am so far very happy! I look forward to the next phase of my life and hope to share it with an incredible person who supports me (and benefits!) and also has their own passions. I hope to find a quality person to spend my days with and if we are lucky enough to have our own family, that would be wonderful! I secretly want it all and am willing to wait for it ;). Bottom line, I just want to meet someone as whacky as myself that is still within the realm of 'normal.' I am totally fine with the traditional dinner for a first date, basically anything that allows the two people to get to know each other and be able to interact, talk is going to be great in my book! Going to a musuem or music venue is also fun. I am not as picky about what we do as getting to know the other person :). I guess the main thing on a first or any date is man that knows how to treat a woman. I am not uptight by any means! I go with the flow and want to have fun for sure, but a man that has manners is the main thing I look for. You can learn a lot about someone by the way they are on the first date ;). I'm not saying I can't open my own door and pull out my chair, I'm just saying, the integrity factor is going to come through no matter what you do on a date :).

I am 41, I have never been married, and I don't have any children. I am the youngest of 5 kids, and I have 14 nieces and nephews. If I meet someone and they have children, that would be great; However, at my age, I do not want children of my own.
