I guess I am looking for someone to get to know and build a lasting friendship and hopefully a relationship with. Although I think there is something to be said about initial chemistry! I'd like to meet someone that I feel comfortable being myself with and he can be just as comfortable being himself with me. Someone to have fun with and really enjoy being with one another. I like meeting new people. I don't usually go to bars except for a rare girls night out. I am pretty out-going and very "go with the flow". I can get all dolled up or throw on some jeans and a t-shirt. I'm comfortable either way. I usually get along with anyone I meet and I feel it's important to give my undivided attention to what others are talking about and be involved in the conversation. My closest friend would say that I'm confident, funny, strong, down to earth and even sexy....I don't see it but who am I to argue, right? She's great for my self-esteem! I am one of the most non-judgemental people you'll ever meet. I don't think it's my place to judge anyone for their choices or beliefs. I can even learn from them. It doesn't mean I have to agree with them....just respect them. I prefer the man to plan the first date. I am not picky and it is nice to have him say "I'll pick you up at this time and we will be doing *** I do not think a movie in a theater is a good first date; hard to get to know someone in a place where talking is frowned upon! I am the type of person who will easily try something new or can be just as satisfied with something old fashioned or familiar.....I am just very "go with the flow"

My friends often refer to me as "sassy", but I much prefer the term ";. I strive to go with the flow and avoid drama, but with that said, IF I have an opinion, you'll know it! I love to laugh, and do it regularly~ often at myself! =) I have enough "It could only happen to me" stories to keep us entertained for days on end...sigh...I am a single mother to three phenomenal children, seeking my second degree in American Sign Language Interpretation (the first is in Early Childhood Education). I work in retail management and surprisingly, I love it! Working with the public is ALMOST like working with children... I'm a little bit country, and a little bit rock and roll~ with alternative, classic rock, pop and jazz thrown in and most hip-hop and rap thrown out. I passionately support the local comedy and music communities. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a groupie! ;)Few things make me happier than working in my yard. I'll try anything once~ with the exception of hot dogs and skydiving. I think the perfect first date would be going to dinner~ at a casual, comfortable place, then heading to see a show somewhere. I'm not a big movie-goer, but am pretty much up for whatever you can think of! I LOVE surprises, and often tell the wait staff to pick their favorite item off the menu and surprise me with it rather than ordering...creativity and integrity are INCREDIBLY attractive to me. =)
