I have been living with M.S, for 16 years. Many people do not understand M.S, and seem to judge before they really know what it is. I am normal and I would like to be treated normal. I went to University for five years to become a aborniginal education teacher. I was told by my doctor that I could not continue due to the illness. I had two courses and last pratinum to complete and to become an elementary teacher.So, I teach kids, tutor, and help if they are having problems.Would like a man who accepts me for me. Doesn't want to change me. To be loved and gives love back.I'm 43, was married for 20 years now divorced. I have three kids, but only my boys live with me. One lives with ex in Saskatchewan. I am old fashioned, love to hold hands, cuddle and kiss. I was married to young and now I want to live life to the fulliest. A relationship always starts as friends first.     My younger brother calls me the "glue" of the family. My father raised me to be independent and able to defend myself. My mother raised me to find the good in others and spread joy to those who need it.I enjoy meeting new people. I believe we are all different for a reason and we should seek the uniqueness in others. Eating/Cooking - I have always enjoyed being in the kitchen and experimenting with food. I won't claim to be the best cook, but I enjoy it. Seeing people enjoy what I cook brings a big smile to my face. I believe in eating healthy, but we have to have those occasional indulgences. The grill is my friend. Eating out is nice on occasion, but getting together with the grill is more fun to me. Dancing - My passion during my 20's and 30's was country dancing. I used to dance several nights a week...haven't danced much in the last 3 years though. Fishing - LOVE fishing! Any kind. A bad day fishing is better than a good day most other places. Haven't had the opportunity for it lately and that's just a darn shame.Outdoors - I really like most anything outdoors...camping, hunting, hiking, tubing (and, of course, fishing). Not afraid to get dirty.Music - I like music of all kinds, from *** to country to rock to jazz... (not much interest in rap or that crazy metal stuff, though)Photography - This is something I thoroughly enjoy, but just haven't made the time for it. I do make sure that my daughter and I take a road trip every spring through the hill country area to get pictures.Football is my favorite season. GO COWBOYS! (You can't hold that against me.)What I'm looking for:I know what I want. I want to be with someone who is happy with himself, confident but not self absorbed. A sense of humor is a must. I may be an independent tomboy, but I am very much woman and desire a masculine gentleman. Knowing how to balance responsibility and playing is a must. I don't do the jealousy thing...either way. I expect total honesty, as that is what I give.
