Say what you mean and mean what you say! Emotional baggage? Sure, we all have it. But leave it at the door. Whoever burned you in the past, it wasn't ME. For a first meeting, I don't think it matters as much where you are, as long as you have a good flow of communication, feel relaxed, and enjoy the company you're with.
