One will run a finger down the index of who you are and jump straight to the parts of you that peak their interest. The other will take his or her time reading through every one of your chapters and maybe fold corners of you that inspired them most. You will meet these two people; it is a given. It is the third that you’ll never see coming. That one person who not only finishes your sentences, but keeps the book. Id like to meet a man who finishes my sentences and keeps the book. After a 17 yr marriage, it's time to rediscover myself. I have two amazing teenagers who keep me busy. But now, it's time to squeeze in some fun for myself, in between my busy lifestyle with my kids. One thing I don't tolerate: LYING.....hence, my impending divorce (which is taking longer than I ever thought possible). I've been separated for nearly 10 months (although I've been emotionally separated for many years) and am ready to move on with my life. What am I interested in? Maybe I should first list what I'm not interested in: old men with beer guts, biker dudes, farmers and cowboys, heavily tattooed men with ear gauges, fat men, men with long-hair, ZZ Top beards, men with gold teeth, nerds. Things I like to do: I love to sing, go dancing, and love sporting events, except for NASCAR (which isn't a sport). I love running or playing anything competitive.! I'm a determined ball of fire and can compete with the best! What I want: I want a relationship with someone who is mature, respectful, full of conversation, even-tempered, accepting of my kids (ages 12 & 15), stable, passionate and attractive to me. No relationship should ever be exhausting. BTW, I'm learning that when men state they are "wanting a relationship," most of the time, that means a sexual relationship only. And I'm not interested in that alone. In addition, I am NOT looking for just a hot sexting/phone sex relationship. I deserve a real dating relationship that could potentially grow into something more. Anything less than that is not acceptable. Favorite music: R&B, pop music, smooth jazz, blues, contemporary Christian music. Turn-offs: Stupidity; excessively tattooed bodies; excessive facial hair; smokers; improper English (it's "you were", not "you was"); quiet men; hot tempers; lying; extremely hairy bodies; outdoorsmen; out-of-shape men; cowboys. In addition, if you don't know how to spell your profession, you're probably not going to be a good match. It's supervisor, not superviser. Also, note in a previous sentence how I used your and you're properly. ;-)Postscript: Messaging me for the first time "Mmmmm..." does not make a good first impression. And neither does the generic introduction, "Hi, how are you today?" Nor does the question, "Had any luck on here?" Be creative and make me smile! Please give me a reason to leave this site behind! I'm looking for someone to have some fun with; catching a ball game or going to a concert or just hanging out. I'm up for almost anything. I would like to meet someone who can teach me some cool new things or get me to try something I never have before. I've been trying to step out of my comfort zone, but that's a lot less scary if there's someone there to do it with me. One of my favorite songs says "if you hold on tight to what you think is your thing, you might find you're missing all the rest" and it's absolutely true!I enjoy working out, but am not an exercise freak. Sometimes just a brisk walk along the lake, taking in the beautiful scenery of downtown, is enough for me. I'm not a big fan of winter so in the colder months, I like curling up on the couch with a good movie (and preferably someone to snuggle with). I am fun, funny, intelligent and incredibly kind. I will do just about anything to help someone out, and would, without question, walk through fire for any one of my friends. I'm self-employed, enjoy what I do, and am able to be flexible with my schedule. And yes, my body type is AVERAGE and my pictures are really what I look like! I will never claim to be something I'm not. I come with no baggage and would prefer someone who doesn't have any either. For example, if you still live with your mother or your ex is a psycho, I'm not the girl for you. We all have a past but you should be able to leave it there. I'm not into drama and I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANYONE WITH CHILDREN! It's in extremely poor taste to have pictures of your kids on a dating site so if that's you, you should be reported to CPS. Also, if you are only interested in a texting buddy and not looking to actually meet or spend time together, then move along and do so quickly. I'm not looking for a texting buddy. In fact, I can't stress enough how much I HATE texting, so if that is your sole form of communication, then please don't waste my time. No rap, hip hop or country, please. If you are looking to have some fun with a truly unique and awesome individual, drop me a line. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANYONE WITH CHILDREN! Something mellow and low-key, preferably involving an adult beverage.
