My hobbies include traveling, enjoying live music, movies, comedy shows or just spending time with someone special. I have two terrific kids that I adore, but I'm not looking for a father for them; they have that. I'm looking for someone intelligent, who has a sense of humor and who wants a serious relationship.I never thought I would do the online dating thing but the bar scene is just not for me. I want a meaningful relationship and online dating seems to be the way to go. I’d rather not see a photo of you holding up a dead animal that you’ve killed. It’s okay if you like to hunt or fish but I just don't need to see the poor, dead animal. I won't be going hunting with you because it's usually too early and too cold.I don't need to see a photo of your car or you working on it. Fake pictures of planes, tour buses or other "toys" do not impress me. I'm looking for a real person, an honest companion who will be good to me and to whom I will enjoy being good. So, while having expensive “things” is nice, it’s not a must for me. Please, no photo-shopped photos of yourself. I’ve noticed on this site that some guys will post a photo of only an eye or nose, or something similar. That seems odd to me. I need to see a photo of your whole face, not just a portion of it, or a photo of just your eye or your hand. And, the photo should be recent. I don’t demand that you look like a Greek god. There’s so much more that goes into a good relationship than just appearance. But, we must be honest with each other about our appearance. We’ll find out anyway if we get to the point of meeting and neither of us would want to be surprised in a negative way. I have a great job that I love, so I’m not looking for someone to support me. But your own financial stability is important. I enjoy all kinds of music except rap. If my looks are that important to you then I am not the girl for you..... but because I don't always "get done up". sometimes it really is a no hair and make-up day..I know I've already said this but JUST BE HONEST.. You have no idea how much give and take there is if you are honest about it.. Not just at the beginning when you first meet someone.. but later on too.. I don't usually date anyone who isn't local.. One reason is because I don't have the time, energy, or money to spend on the road looking for love. The second is just because I am not cut out for a long distance relationship. I'm not jealous at all.. but I know taste and wants change.. Plus some people are always looking for the next best thing *** choosing what they have... and these things are just easier to notice if it's local.. besides .. how can you get to know someone unless you spend time with them. Our first date doesn't have to break the bank. I'm okay with anything from meeting for cokes to putt-putt to dinner, to dancing, to trips to the beach- watch the waves- watch the stars, to whatever.. A trip to the Bahamas is okay with me too.... then it's one quick ferry ride and you're there.. It's not worth trying to impress me by spending money. Lets just have fun and get to know each other. Ummm.... but I'd like for you to come up with the date. It's not that I dont have opinions.. it's just I'm up for anything and it's your dime... so might as well make it something you'd enjoy too.. I promise if we hit it off I will come up with all sorts of things for us to do!!

    I am a professional and work hard at keeping the balance between career and my personal life. I own a great little house in the SE and am fully self sufficient. My children have started their own lives, university and such. I now have the freedom to be spontaneous and have the travel bug! I am not interested in having children. I am however, not afraid of a man that has his own. In the profiles I have read people state what they want and their interests. I think most of them are the same.. eat and live healthy, get out and do things you enjoy and find someone on the same page as yourself.
