Welcome to my profile. It's just a question of how we deal with whatever comes our way. Are we calm and collected doing what needs do be done or do we hit the panic button. I lean more to the former and tend to be the calming influence in whatever storm encountered. I'm looking for an equal to navigate this life's waters with.Here's a little about me.I'm kind and considerate, love to laugh and get outside. I've been self employed for most of my career and enjoy the sense of accomplishment and freedom of being a business owner. Business fascinates me and so does art. It has everything to do with the creative process. I love viewing and discussing the products of that creative process. Nature and its beauty can fill me with a wonderful sense of peace and awe. Good food, good wine and good conversation are some of my favourite pastimes. Travelling is important to me and I've done more then most. I'd like to do more. There's nothing like the exhilaration of new sights, sounds, tastes and cultures shared with that special someone. My other passions include photography and painting.My friends would describe me as adventurous, generous, honest, creative, funny, fun, and both silly and serious.I live a full single life filled with family, friends and activities I enjoy, but like most people on this site, I too am missing that special someone. My best friend, my love, my lover, my partner in life. I'm a strong believer in chemistry. That zing when someone walks towards you from across a room. It can only be determined in person. The rest is all about values and compatibility. I value honesty, integrity, good communication and openness. I also believe in honest self reflection and doing just a little better every day so I become a better person. Although I'm looking for a long term relationship I'm not in a hurry to find one. I believe it takes time to get to know someone, so it starts with dating.I'm equally at home in a dress/ business suit or jeans and a t-shirt and hiking gear.Going out to a lovely restaurant or staying home cuddling by the fireplace.Enjoying great conversation or shared silence.Dinner parties with friends or reading a good book.Hopefully you are as well.     Well I tried this before & it didn't work out but, thought I'd try once again. I am looking for a nice, honest, fun guy.
