I am not only speaking for myself but for the other very intelligent, successful, fun, well mannered, interesting women and men that might be on this site. I understand we are all human and have certain things we are looking for...that spark, the special connection, someone who gets us, the easy to talk to, honest, sincere, secure person. I admit that is exactly what I want. I really have no intention on settling. I have done that in the past and it has gotten me no where but on a website looking to meet someone else. But I do know there is more to a relationship than physical attraction and sometimes that comes naturally after you've connected on a higher level.Now with all that being said...I'm an easy going person, I can carry on a conversation with anyone about anything, I work hard and I love what I do, I like to have fun and I love to laugh. My boys are the most important people in the world to me and always come first. Anyone who doesn't have children, doesn't always get that. My family is big and plays a big role in all that I do, but doesn't run my life. Like many people, I find it challenging to write about myself. You've heard that saying "We are our own worst critic". I am not perfect, but then again no one really is though we are all trying. We all have flaws and faults, it's natural. Experiences in life make us who we are today, how we use those experiences and learn from them is the challenge. The man I'm waiting for should feel secure in his own skin and with who he has become. He should be willing to continually grow and learn more, as an individual and together with me. I can be considered shy or tough at first, but as life has taught most people "Things aren't always what they seem". The one who is willing to get past these exterior characteristics will find that I am very warm, supportive and a loving person. I am a romantic at heart and enjoy being surprised and let's face it, what woman doesn't like to be swept off her feet from time to time. That doesn't mean that you won't get the same in return especially when you least expect it. No relationship is always ***, but when you average it out over time it should pretty close.I enjoy cooking and entertaining at home, it can be as simple as a BBQ or as fancy as a full course meal. What matters is the people that you are sharing the time with. I have wonderful kids. My dogs came from rescue shelters and are a part of my family. I love spending time with my family but I find the need to start experiencing some time with that special man.My favorite color is RED and am told I look good wearing it.
