Man it's like kijiji on here. So much to weed through to get to the good stuff!Well let me open with this. I'm tall, 5'10". So, in all fairness you should know, that unless you're 6'1", and I mean really 6'1", I'm not interested. I like to wear my heels occasionally and being taller than my guy makes me uncomfortable. I actually am pretty funny with a quick wit and sense of humor. If you can make me laugh, bonus points baby. 6) listening. I am that friend you can come to if you need to vent, complain or cry. 7) kayaking. Just discovered it this summer and whether it's a river or a lake, I love it. 8) cleaning bathrooms. Just wanted to see if you're reading every word or skimming over it. 9) spooning. Big or little, I'm your girl. Cuddling is highly underrated. 10)... let's kill this list already... kissing! If you are also a good kisser, I think we (our lips) should meet.I take care of myself inside and out and would expect that you do too. If you smoke, are trying to quit, or are in denial (lying) about your smoking, you're not for me. I like men who are fit, active and healthy. I love to watch and play sports which some guys think is pretty cool. I want to travel more in the next few years as there are still many places I haven't been. Live music is one of my fave things. Some concerts I've been to have filled my soul! I'm a warm weather kinda girl and spend as much time outside as possible in that 2 month window we call summer. I'm a mom of two amazing girls. We have lots of fun together and they are my favorite people in the world. My life is good, I'm blessed. Just looking to add a person to it and bring it up a notch. Having said that, I'd much rather be alone than be with the wrong person, for any length of time. I know who I am and what I want. I like to laugh, and am pretty happy generally with how my life is, I have great friends and I spend time with my family, I would just like a partner to share life with.I like to spend time at gallery openings, seeing live music, theatre, and dance, with a broad range of tastes in all. I love alternative rock and jazz and finding dives around the world to see it. I love outdoor concerts in the sun and intimate venues too. I love classical and singer/songwriter stuff. Not too much into country and Rap, although sometimes Stomping Tom or Johnny Cash are perfect for the moment. I love classical, especially chamber music, preferring small solos and quartets to large symphonies.I was hit by a car last March while riding my bike, a literal head-on collision with a minivan, so my physical activity is momentarily limited. I walk about 2- Can't wait to be back in top shape so I can enjoy my regular fare of running, cycling, hiking, snowshoeing, swimming...Throwing mid-week dinner parties is a worthy decadence. I cook like crazy, am half Italian and versed in French cooking, but most things I make are based on whole, organic foods made from scratch. I love fine dining and finding amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I hate the word "foodie" and get called it a lot.I have travelled quite a bit and hope to do more. I like travelling in a variety of ways: road trips, backpacking or 5 star it, and pride myself on packing light. I have a passport, undies and a toothbrush in my purse at all times, ready for impromptu getaways.I am looking for someone who can hold a conversation, I like to talk about politics, religion and other topics that polite girls aren't supposed to broach, particularly over a bottle of a good red. On the other hand, I love puns, and being silly. I want someone who is a bit old fashioned, as I can't possibly make all the decisions and first moves. Time for another update :) How does one explain what they're looking for with dropdown boxes and radio buttons? Nothing really matches what's in my head...lol. My ideal results from this site is someone who wants to do things, simple things like sitting around a fire at a friends, camping for a weekend, floating down the Snye or just a night at home watching a movie. Someone looking for a relationship but not a serious/have to see each other everyday/must spend every waking moment together/lets get married relationship. I like my life right now but spending time with someone special is always a welcome improvement. I'd much rather meet a real person, not just their profile. If you have no intentions of meeting people face to face, this is probably the wrong profile for you. By the way...I'll never be mistaken for tall but BBW I am. Class Clown isn't exactly accurate either but nothing else seemed to fit. I do have a great sense of humor, though, and love comedy clubs/movies. I have a great job that I enjoy and I've finally finished studying! Looking forward to finding something new to fill my free time. Hobbies are definitely lacking after 5 years of the work, study, work, study routine. Maybe I'll finally make that trip to Vegas..lol.Ask me anything and I'll usually give you a very direct answer. I love to laugh and try to be positive. It doesn't always work, but I try. A small group of good friends certainly makes it easier, even if they don't all live here. Can't wait to go back again and explore off the strip. 3 days was way too short. Something casual, no pressure, easy to walk away from if there's no connection. If there is a connection, plans are made to be broken...lol
