I am a full fledged urbanite but I prefer the forest, the ocean, wooden homes, stained glass and potlucks with friends. I like to sleep in tents, ride my bike, be in & on the water, say yes to things that scare me, air guitar like no one's looking & read the New Yorker (not necessarily all at the same time). I eat Szechuan & I have a 7-year-old god-daughter. Your mom will like me. I have a career that’s unique, demanding & totally fulfilling.; volunteered with orphans in Romania (where I was also bitten by a feral dog). I’m addicted to TV (I don’t mean the educational shows) & therefore don’t own one. I’m not however, addicted to anything else & would prefer you aren’t either. I’m always looking for ways to grow & learn & so am usually enrolled in a class, some kind of training, personal development work, etc. You being well-educated, versatile & adventurous would be likely. You can count on me to be engaging, funny and to keep you on your toes. I’m very perceptive but I’m no mind reader so it’s important that you be someone who communicates honestly, clearly & often. I’m seeking a guy who is willing to own his humanity (the good, the bad & the ugly) & who wants to grow & learn throughout his lifetime. My Cancerian shell can be a bit soft at times, at other times I can be a bit too sharp & so I want to be with a man who is compassionate, bold & committed. If you are also a good kisser, I think we (our lips) should meet.I take care of myself inside and out and would expect that you do too. If you smoke, are trying to quit, or are in denial (lying) about your smoking, you're not for me. I like men who are fit, active and healthy. I love to watch and play sports which some guys think is pretty cool. I want to travel more in the next few years as there are still many places I haven't been. Live music is one of my fave things. Some concerts I've been to have filled my soul! I'm a warm weather kinda girl and spend as much time outside as possible in that 2 month window we call summer. I'm a mom of two amazing girls. We have lots of fun together and they are my favorite people in the world. My life is good, I'm blessed. Just looking to add a person to it and bring it up a notch. Having said that, I'd much rather be alone than be with the wrong person, for any length of time. I know who I am and what I want. Chemistry is of utmost importance for sure, but true compatibility, I believe, is where the magic happens.Gotta start somewhere though so don't be shy. Talk to me baby!
