I'm the kind of girl who tries to pick someone up when they're feeling down, and takes care of those that are closest to me. What can I say? It's in my nature to nurture! I like to think of my glass as 'half full', and try to maintain a positive outlook on life and love. I like to laugh - a LOT, but you'll also find me reaching for the tissue box during a sad movie....Incredibly romantic, I love to surprise and to be surprised; love notes in special places, phone calls or texts just to say you're thinking about me, or a candlelit picnic on the living room floor. I think that romance should come from the heart - not necessarily the wallet - and that random acts of kindness along with imagination and creativity can go a long way in showing someone how much you care.I sincerely believe that it's the little things in life, and yes - in a relationship - that often mean the most and make the biggest impact! *S*Having been in the same profession for nearly 20 years, and self employed for the past 13, I’ve acquired all of the ‘trappings’ that keep me comfortable and content. I lead a very quiet and simple life, filled with work, great friends and a wonderful close-knit family. I enjoy a good book while curled up under the blanket, movies of any genre, board games and music of all types. I LOVE to cook, and I hope to find someone who shares in that passion, or at the very least, has a BIG appetite! I have a huge soft spot for children and animals, and happen to have 2 kitties of my own, Allie and Zoey. Communication is key for me in any relationship, I want my partner to be my best friend; Someone I can talk to about anything and everything, or say nothing at all and still have the best conversation with only a look....I want to meet a man who can still be a boy - but knows when the right time is to be either/or.     Well lets see, I use to have lots of hobbies,but then I had my two great kids. They are all on there own now. I'm in my 40s and really to have fun again. I have dogs and birds, so that puts me as an animal lover. I'm open to trying new things. But here what I have done:Quadding, Hiking, backpacking horses, spelunking (caving)boating, kayaking, repelling some sport way back when,scuba I have my open water,are just some of what I've done.
