Like many whose profiles I have read, this is not my first time here, but it is my first time actively looking for a friend of the opposite sex. I will be upfront about my thoughts on dating; if I ran the world there would be no need to date, we would automatically paired up with our life partner and live happily ever after. I do not run the world so...I am a country girl stuck in the city, I drive a truck and love my tools:) I am shy even though I don't come across that way. I am into physical activity; you may find that I have played or taught an assortment of activities. I love golf, but I am not very good. I love swimming, but I don't like getting my tummy cold. I love to run, but at the moment I am just getting back into running after an injury and it is the treadmill all the way! I love the outdoors and spending time there with my children. My top priority are my children and teaching them my passions for canoeing, camping and of course fishing. This year we took up fly fishing and I am loving it!Ultimately my long-term goal is to find that someone special to grow old with, and hold hands with as we walk that path into our golden years. This someone special needs to have the strength to hold my world up now and again so to give my shoulders a short rest.     About me:Hmmm, well, I have been single for almost 2 years now. My philosophy is to keep it simple, and not sweat the small stuff.I absolutely love music, without it I think the world would be a pretty dismal place. I listen to a lot of different types, I am a rocker at heart, but lately I have been listening to folk/rock music, but Tool is one of my favorite bands. I like to sing and I also like to dance, I was in a dance company in my youth, I mostly did contemporary, some modern, and a little ballet as well as 6 years of competitive gymnastics. I love to travel, I have been to a few countries so far, and plan on exploring as many as possible in the rest of my time here.I am friendly, pretty outgoing, and no dummy, I know a little about a lot of things, and sometimes I surprise myself when I play jeopardy. My mind is full of a lot of random information and facts that can come in handy from time to time. I like a man who holds the door open for me, chivalry is not dead in my world. You don't have to have impeccable manners, but if every second word that comes out of your mouth is f*ck this and f*uck that, then it's not going to happen. That's a major turn off to me.
