About me:Hmmm, well, I have been single for almost 2 years now. I am not actively seeking a relationship, in my experience relationships happen when you least expect, so I am not going to limit myself by saying I am not interested in having a relationship, because that could eliminate the possibility before it even happens. I do get plenty of exercise, but I am not rock hard, I am slender and petite.A friend once said to me, "Life is about choices, and I think if people just thought about things a little harder, then it could reduce the chance of regret later on." Life is way too short to live with regret as I am beginning to learn. I am still a work in progress, I am great at giving advice, but like a lot of people, I have a hard time practicing what I preach. My philosophy is to keep it simple, and not sweat the small stuff.I absolutely love music, without it I think the world would be a pretty dismal place. I listen to a lot of different types, I am a rocker at heart, but lately I have been listening to folk/rock music, but Tool is one of my favorite bands. I like to sing and I also like to dance, I was in a dance company in my youth, I mostly did contemporary, some modern, and a little ballet as well as 6 years of competitive gymnastics. I love to travel, I have been to a few countries so far, and plan on exploring as many as possible in the rest of my time here.I am friendly, pretty outgoing, and no dummy, I know a little about a lot of things, and sometimes I surprise myself when I play jeopardy. My mind is full of a lot of random information and facts that can come in handy from time to time. I like a man who holds the door open for me, chivalry is not dead in my world. You don't have to have impeccable manners, but if every second word that comes out of your mouth is f*ck this and f*uck that, then it's not going to happen. That's a major turn off to me. My hobbies:These are a few things that I really enjoy doing, spending quiet evenings at home watching a movie, sitting around a bonfire with family and friends, going to one of my favorite restaurants and having a few drinks on the patio. I also enjoy trying new things, I've already been sky diving and next I'd like to try zip lining. Another one of my hobbies is reading - I do it every night before I go to sleep.Goals and Aspirations:I've already reached a few of my goals, I've lost 46 pounds and have kept if off for over 2 years now and I am able to provide my boys with a good home. And for some strange reason that I can’t quite explain, I still have a soft spot for music from the eighties. I also enjoy watching a good movie, and any TV show that makes me laugh like Modern Family, The Office, Family Guy and the Big Bang Theory or TV shows that involve a good mystery like Cold Case, CSI or Without a Trace.
