Woman. 41 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.
Looking for: man. In age: 38-48
I believe in enjoying life, I’m just finding that it is not as much fun trying to enjoy it alone.I like spending my evenings relaxing at home with a good book or a movie and a glass of home-made wine. My weekends are for fun! I like to get up early, hop in the car and see where the road takes us... Maybe it will be breakfast in Cereal, AB, or how about a hike in the mountains? I like exploring and discovering the world around me. My passport only has one stamp in it, and while I’m open to traveling my list of things to see are a little closer to home. I love the city I live in, but I love leaving it too! I like trips to Saskatchewan (seriously). I enjoy camping and hiking, but I’m not in to dirtbiking or quadding. I am past my party camping days, and prefer the crackle of a campfire and the chirp of frogs. I like canoeing, but am not in to water skiing. I would love to find someone who could teach me how to fish and actually catch something (bonus points for fly-fishing)!I enjoy history, and so, when I do travel I like to learn more about the location I'm in and where it "came" from. Therefore, I avoid resorts and package vacations. I like to meet people, eat their food, and learn about their culture. I love good food! I enjoy cooking when I have someone there to appreciate it. I try and eat healthy most of the time, but I’m not obsessive over it. You will likely never hear me talking about the latest fad diet, and if I order a salad, it’s because I actually want to eat a salad!I try and live a healthy lifestyle. I recently took up running (although I have found I don't enjoy running in the heat) and got back on a bicycle again (after 20 years), but hate going to the gym other than for the occasional yoga class. I prefer to get my exercise outdoors. I am not on the go all the time though; I have been known to spend the odd weekend at home in my pjs. I like some down time to recharge with a good book too.I have two children over the age of 16. My daughter lives on her own and my son lives with me every other week. I have a good co-parenting relationship with his father. I am attracted to people who are either artistic or musically inclined (or both). I like people who can challenge me to see the world in a different light, and are open-minded enough to consider a different perspective as well. I would like to meet someone who prefers conversation over television, and exploring over standing still. I would like to meet someone who is passionate enough about something to get excited, and who isn't afraid to dream. I would like to meet someone who is ready to write their love story. 90% of the time we'll probably end up going for coffee, but I prefer having a little fun. We can at least go for a walk with our coffee (or tea)... (and if it's raining I can almost guarantee that I will be wearing inappropriate footwear!)OR...I know a bowling alley that rents shoes with skulls and flames on them, and I believe you can tell a lot about people through their ability to laugh at themselves.

I am a single mom to a gorgeous 9yr old daughter and while it would be nice if you had children as well, it is not a deal breaker. I believe family should and will always come first as they will be with you until the end.I have a career I enjoy that allows me to travel often, I own my home and I am not looking for someone to support me financially but emotionally - I will do the same in return.Do you have a slightly twisted sense of humor?Do you believe that integrity and honesty should be one in the same trait? Can you handle quiet evenings at home? Do you enjoy movies? Are you honest, regardless if you think I can handle it or not?Can you appreciate Jackie Chan and Family Guy?If you can say yes to all of the above questions - we need to meet.I am funny, smart, confident and honest to the point of being blunt. I dont believe in playing games and you will always know where you stand with me. If I am upset, I will tell you and then yes, I will get over it! I enjoy going to movies or heading to a pub to listen to live music- keeping it casual. What else?......I wont stand for cheaters or liars and if you currently have a few women 'on the go', then make up your mind and pick one.I only wear makeup for work and often go 'naked' on the weekends.....and I have been told I am easy on the eyes first thing in the morning.I am a recent cancer survivor but i know that experience has only made me stronger and everything happens in your life for a reason - you have to accept it and appreciate each morning that you can wake up to face a new day. I am very proud of myself as i just got a new tattoo on my wrist, acknowledging my ongoing battle, and it looks pretty sweet :)I also had to cut my hair very short, chemo is very nasty, but hair always grows, right? LOLI should also say that due to all of the radiation i had to have to survive, i can no longer have children....so if you dont have any and want one, best to pass me on by.I hope I have perked your interest and I dont believe in chatting online forever. I like to meet in person and see if the sparks will fly.2 requirements.... ***NO picture on your profile = NO response. You know what I look like, so it is only fair....***i only date guys that are my height or taller (5'***. I hate being the amazon in the relationship lol*****UPDATE****Do all guys expect women to pay for their own drinks/meals at the first meeting? Maybe i am expecting too much but if I pay for a sitter to go meet you, then the least the guy can do is buy me a bottle of water or some wings and a glass of milk! I only drink water and milk (no alcohol at all ; not by choice) so I am a VERY cheap date. :) But if you ask me to 'chip in my share', then that is a telltale sign you are not interested.Am I wrong? I hope i dont sound ****y but i would really like to know what the general male opinion is about meeting for the first time and not willing to pay $15 when i would have already paid my sitter $20 before even walking out the door. OK- i am done LOL***\\\***Put This***On Your***Profile if***You Know***\\\***Someone***\\***Who Died***\***Of***\\\***Cancer***\\\---Or who may be suffering from it maybe meeting at a pub for a drink, or water LOL, that isnt too loud so we can chat. save the dinner and movie for 2nd or 3rd date. could also meet at a park for a walk on a nice day

Looking for: man. In age: 42-52
I consider myself an easygoing, laid back woman with a firm belief that life is too short. I love to spend time with my children, but I would like to meet a man to spend time with as well. I'm hoping to meet a man that enjoys life as much as I do. Someone with a glass half full disposition that knows what he wants in life and can appreciate the small things that make up a relationship.I like watching movies and my favourites are far reaching... I do like to read and almost always have a book or two on the go. I like all sorts of music for the most part... I enjoy watching some sports (preferably hockey or football - love my Riders). I like playing cards and games (board..not head), and dining out on occasion. I do enjoy making a meal for someone just to show how much I appreciate them. I think a great first date would be going to coffee/lounge together and getting to learn more about each other. Then see where the day/date takes you together.
