Update June ***: I am officially divorcedOk, after being on this site now on and off for a while I think it’s time for an update. A little bit of background…. Can’t help but feel that this built a strong foundation for humor and “I got your back”, if you know what I mean. Competing over food : ) and attention at the dinner table (aka jokes) has made me realize at this time in my life humor is a wonderful thing to have and I often use it to get through some of the tougher times. Not to say I don’t have a serious side, as I do, but I do love to laugh and enjoy making others laugh as well.I attended college in NYC for Graphic Design and still do freelance work as a Graphic Artist from home. The great thing about this is that I do get to spend a lot of time with my 10 year old & 13 year old. They come first and if your kids are over 18 and you do not want to date someone with younger children I completely understand.I am thankful for the many areas I have lived in in the US as well as overseas. Living in Guam 2x with 2 Super Typhoons under my belt has given me some life experiences that I would not trade. While living in Guam I had the good fortune to be a buyer for a gift shop which once again the travel and the people that I met on my trips make me realize I am privy to some things that some people will never know nor understand. I love being outside and actually enjoy doing yard work. The beach is and will always be a favorite place to go. Love the arts and enjoy diverse conversation.As stated in my original profile, I do not think this is a perfect science. I do believe that it is a combination of personality, chemistry and enjoying each other’s company. And a we bit of a crapshoot if you will. Timing plays a role as well. Looking to be friends first and see if any of the combos are working on both sides. I don’t discount a relationship but am not in any type of rush whatsoever…Ok, that all being said…. I've been divorced for a long time, I've been 'out' of a relationship for years; as well. It feels like I've just been swept along- raising my kids and working and making everyone else's life easier and more comfortable- that I forgot about living mine. Now my kids are grown, and I really don't know what to do with this freedom. I try to go with the flow of friends and social events; but it's getting old, always being alone or with 20 somethings. I like to do everything; motorcycles and coffee are at the top of my favorites, though!In no particular order, I love to: cook, read, ride, hike, work, drive, relax, walk, boat, fish, race, shoot, explore, write. I also like; beaches, animals, sports, bon fires, music, trucks, DYI projects. Always ready for the next adventure!I don't need to be rescued from anything..I have a decent job, I pay my own bills, I have a reliable car, I'm not in any situations that are unsafe, I don't even have a great amount of debt. I just want someone to share my time with. Please note that nothing at all about me spoke or hinted of winter, because I don't like it. Scenario 1: Coffee out on the deck watching the sun rise or set, maybe check out one of the river walks...go for a walk & talk. Hit up one of the state parks and go explore.- with no destination, plan or schedule.Scenario 3: Local musical venues. Find where fun local bands are and hit up the local social scene, or local seasonal events.
