Hello there! Thanks for stopping to read my profile. I am a cardiac nurse who works at a local hospital. I work every weekend so dating requires a little scheduling creativity. :) If you are limited to dating on solely weekends, then it probably isn't feasible to consider meeting. I would most certainly consider a schedule change for the right man, but I have yet to find him, I suppose that is obvious. =)I enjoy going to the gym, learning, challenging myself in various areas, and writing poetry (when inspired). I have been described as someone who is goal-oriented, driven, genuine, and down-to-earth. I have a fun-loving sarcastic side and love to evoke laughter from others. I am often cutting up with my family and friends because life is simply too short not to be enjoyed. I frequently apply humor to a lot of situations but I do still maintain the ability to be very sincere. I have one daughter ***y/o) who is the light of my life. She lives with me and is currently following in her momma's footsteps and is going to nursing school. Her and I have always had a wonderful relationship and she has been the greatest blessing of my life. The respect and admiration she affords me goes unmatched and I consider it the highest honor in the world, for my child to want to model me. I prefer the mountains over the beach, coffee over tea, dogs over cats, a nice pub or sports bar over fine dining and a good football game or action movie over a museum or play. I am a person who appreciates the simpler things in life such as watching the sunset or gazing at the stars on a clear night. I am a strong and self-sufficient woman who maintains enough humility to know when to ask for help but attempts to do for myself as much as I possibly can. The good news for that special man is . . . I am NOT high maintenance. I can talk football, cut grass, and still be dressed up, taken out, and even turn a head or two. ;) I am a passionate person in everything I do. Whether it be with parenting, school, work, or a relationship, I always try to put my best foot forward. I believe that some of the hardest endeavors in life are the most character-shaping and I try to never shy away from a challenge. I am confident in my own ability to achieve as much as I am willing to work toward and thus far, my inner drive has served me well. I maintain the respect of my peers, I enjoy close friendships, and now I am just simply searching for that someone that has something so special about him that it inspires me to live, laugh, and love even deeper. I am in search of someone with whom I can share a deep meaningful relationship; I am not the type of person that dates multiple people at one time. The man I am in search of is a genuine man who understands and values sincerity and integrity; one who has goals and dreams but is not consumed by them. This man will not impress me by the money he makes nor the car he drives but rather how he treats himself, his family, and those around him. I think humility and integrity are two of the sexiest traits a man can have and in my eyes. . .if those traits are absent, even the biggest biceps look flaccid. I am less interested in how much you can bench, but more interested in the strength of your character & depth of your heart. Call it a tall order but I know he is out there somewhere. I like to think of it as a first meeting in a casual, public place. The date may come later if there is any chemistry.

I've been divorced for a long time, I've been 'out' of a relationship for years; as well. It feels like I've just been swept along- raising my kids and working and making everyone else's life easier and more comfortable- that I forgot about living mine. Now my kids are grown, and I really don't know what to do with this freedom. I try to go with the flow of friends and social events; but it's getting old, always being alone or with 20 somethings. I like to do everything; motorcycles and coffee are at the top of my favorites, though! In no particular order, I love to: cook, read, ride, hike, work, drive, relax, walk, boat, fish, race, shoot, explore, write. I also like; beaches, animals, sports, bon fires, music, trucks, DYI projects. Always ready for the next adventure!I don't need to be rescued from anything..I have a decent job, I pay my own bills, I have a reliable car, I'm not in any situations that are unsafe, I don't even have a great amount of debt. I just want someone to share my time with. Please note that nothing at all about me spoke or hinted of winter, because I don't like it. Scenario 1: Coffee out on the deck watching the sun rise or set, maybe check out one of the river walks...go for a walk & talk. Hit up one of the state parks and go explore.- with no destination, plan or schedule.Scenario 3: Local musical venues. Find where fun local bands are and hit up the local social scene, or local seasonal events.
