I am a surgery nurse and I work really long and hard hours, so when I have down time I like to watch football, take the boys camping, hunting and fishing. I love to cook and grill out. Scary movies are my fav and Halloween is my fav time of year...haunted houses and such...lol. I also like to take weekend trips to the beach and mountains.If you are still reading and I havent offended you then you should drop by to say Hi, I will respond to all my messages because it would be rude not too. I'm a single mom of two awesome kids (my son is 13, my daughter is 11). They take up much of my time but I am looking to meet a funny, intelligent, attractive, tall (I'm almost 5'9 so prefer men at least 6' or close to it :), just all around interesting man. I been described as a guy's girl and I tend to take that as a compliment...I'm laid back, love to watch and play sports, will go to the beach or boating any day of the week and twice on Sunday, and I truly prefer a beach or Irish bar to a club. Seems like every other profile I read says "I love to travel, I have been to 8 countries this year and I plan on hitting up 2 more this month". Ok, so that's a bit of an exaggeration but how does anyone have that much spare time or money for that matter (and really, who doesn't like vacations)?? I enjoy traveling as well but to be honest, with two kids, I don't get to do it as much as I like. Although having an airline pilot as a father allowed me to travel extensively as a child/young adult so I don't feel as though I'm missing anything for a few years. So my daughter set this page up for me, because she thought I stayed at home way to much, well I guess I do, but I am not a lady who is looking for anything but my soul mate. I am not an object I am not someone who can or will allow myself to be used for anything. So now that the sex issue has been discussed and cleared up, let me tell you about me. I've had bad experiences in the past and I am so thankful that I have learned from those mistakes and will do my best to not make them again, but I will not use those bad mistakes against anyone else. Okay now for DRAMA....everyone wants someone who has no DRAMA.. really my question is what is DRAMA....If having a problem do deal with every once in a while is DRAMA, then heck we all have it.. I choose to deal with it and move on. No ones back door step is always clean, nor do I expect it to be. We all have a past, as well as I do, so you have to be able to accept the past and allow it to remain in the past to be able to move forward, so don't treat me as if I am gonna treat you like someone in your past has, because I am NOT that person, as you will be given the same respect. If you not looking for an adult relationship that is mature and respectful then I'm not the one for you. NO GAMES. I'm just a country girl, with a country heart, who keeps things honest and real and given the opportunity for the right guy, you can experience what all I have to offer. Take Care and God Bless. I think a good first date doesn't have to involve the typical "dinner and a movie". Where the man is not pushy, he shows a true interest in me personally, flirting is fine, yet not overboard, and also he is capable of showing a general interest in things that I'm interested in. It's important that the date include time to get to know each other and a movie just doesn't lend that kind of time. Dinner is good but it can be a little too formal for the first date. I think going for walk around a lake or park and then doing something that you both agree on afterwards.
