I love good tequila, and I love to cook- and a whole multitude of other things. Oh, and my dog is one of my favorite people. I can be impulsive and restless at times, and I sometimes cuss way too much. I stay up way too late- way too often. ...I try to desire less, but struggle with wanting more. I'm a lot less interested in cool, and a lot more impressed with kindness these days. Honesty is good, games are tiresome! I have an idea as to what I'm looking for, but there's always room for adjustment. You should have compassion, or at least an interest in developing it. I find arrogance and dishonesty very unattractive, but a sarcastic sense of humor is tolerable... I would like to find a man with kind eyes who gives affection freely and who tries to understand more and assumes less. My idea of a great date would be doing something I haven't done, and that the kiss goodnight would weaken my knees....

..Now that that is out of the way... ;)There is nothing sexier than trust in a relationship... and by definition it takes the desire and ability to open up and be vulnerable to some extent... In that vulnerability alone perhaps lies the key to ecstasy - when what you give is reciprocated right back. Undeniably, it hurts when it's not, but are you strong enough to not close yourself off because of the toads you have kissed? Hmmm...I consider myself social, outdoorsy and down to earth .. I feel really fortunate to have two beautiful sons and incredible friends and family. Turns out I'm quite driven and I have realized that it seems to be a challenge to find a compatible partner. I have always been independent and self sufficient. ;-)..I'm happiest outdoors; hiking, camping, riding my horses, skiing, gardening, kayaking, rafting, climbing to the top of the world and finding the roads less traveled. I love adrenaline rushes and you'll find me doing all the crazy stuff. I love art, photography and traveling in the U.S and around the world, experiencing new cultures. Every day should be an adventure! I work out and stay fit, I don't mind getting my hands dirty and working on endless home projects. I love to go out dancing to live music, hanging out with friends contemplating the meaning of life or having a romantic evening and enjoying some cava at home in front of the wood stove. Not a couch potato and not looking to find one either. I'm into healthy food (love to cook and try new foods). I know just the perfect spot... it's close.. barefoot in the sand.. or anything else that is fun for that matter...

I spend much of my time with my children. I have raised them on my own for the last 6 years. So much of my time has been spent carring for them. Now that they are getting older they are secure in who they are and becoming more independent. This has allowed me more free time to pursue a relationship.As far as music I enjoy Contemporary Christian, Praise and Worship. I have not seen a movie that is rated over PG***for over 6 years. As far as Super Heros and Star Wars I am almost an expert! lol When I do get a chance to watch tv I prefer to watch crime drama or comedy shows.I have been raised in church and attended Bible College for youth ministry in 95 and later came back to my area an worked with at risk youth. God opened the door for me to go through the Police Acadamy were I graduated and pursued a career in Law Enfocement. I work as a patrolman and worked for the Juveline Court in my area. Later when I married and began having children it became difficult being both mom and a police officer so I willingly gave up my career in order to be a stay at home mom. Now that the boys are all in school I am currently back in college to get a degree in counseling.My boys are very loving and want to have a stepdad that will be involved in their lives. We are open and ready to see what God has for us next. I have been blessed with Godly people in my life that helped me get through these last 6 years. My faith is very important to me and I am determined to raise my children in a Godly home.If you do not want young children (11,9,8 and 6) or feel you are to old to raise children PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND. Also please honestly consider if you are the type of person who could love and raise another mans offspring as your own. Their father will never have custody of them but they love their dad. If you can not handle them seeing their dad on a monthly basis or calling once a week we are not for you! Dinner and talking. I am at a point in my life that I want "all the cards on the table"
