Very honest, down to earth single mom looking for a sincere and honest heart. The only games I want to play involve moving pieces around a board. Short of that, plz don't waste my time. I'm a hopeless romantic, who truly believes in the power of love. I'm fun, spontaneous, adventurous, and I LOVE to laugh!! :-) Not into racist, sexist, homophobic close minded ppl, and I won't tolerate dishonesty. That's a deal breaker for me. My ideal partner will understand that being a great mom is my top priority, and it will only work if he wants a good, strong relationship with my son as well. I'm a very strong willed, convicted, passionate person, but I do not like arguing on the home front. Someone asked me today what I'm doing on here. I told him that I was searching for my "intended." That one special guy that I'm supposed to be with (yes, I do believe in such things!). He then asked what I'm looking for in a guy. This was my response:Ideally, my perfect guy will be very honest (I hate being lied to!); he will be very loyal to me, and he wont cheat; he's faithful not out of fear of being caught but bcz he's happy...; he'll be smart, but not pretentious, (note: for me, smart and educated are NOT synonyms! Some of the most intelligent, well read ppl ik did not go to college; conversely, I know a lot of ppl w/college or even graduate degrees that are dumb as dirt!); he'll have a good sense of humor and will love making me laugh; he won't be judgmental or intolerant of human differences; he'll be adventurous and spontaneous; he will love the water, and feel a certain pull toward it; he'll be sweet and romantic, adoring and respectful; he'll be selfless, a giver not just a taker; he'll be hard working and hard playing; he's protective but not controlling;; he'll be a passionate and intense lover (compatibility here is essential); he's family oriented and he likes to have fun with family, he doesn't just tolerate them at the holidays! He will love all kinds of music, esp 70s and 80s (Although I wont lose sleep if he's not a big fan of rap/hip hop!), and will express himself frequently thru music (ability to play an *** a definite plus!) he'll have a healthy appreciation for movies, be able to quote them on command and get movie references when i make them (if i say "i gave her my heart, she gave me a pen" he'll get it, go play Peter Gabriel and lift his arms into the air!) But most importantly, he'll want a good relationship w/my son and ultimately will love him and be a strong positive role model in his life, helping me to shape and mold him into a great man one day. That's my wish list for my soul mate. I'm hoping to find someone w/at least one or two of these qualities! ;-) Perfect first date starts w/dinner at an amazing, but quiet, intimate restaurant, w/cocktails and/or wine, and shared dessert! Stroll afterward for more conversation, then find something fun to do, like go see a band, maybe meet up with some friends at a Fav bar and cut loose and have fun. Very relaxed and flirty and fun ;-)

    I like open, honest, and secure individuals that can express and explore their desires. I can be submissive or dominant, but I try to be "just right". I can be impulsive and restless at times, and I sometimes cuss way too much. I stay up way too late- way too often. ...I try to desire less, but struggle with wanting more. I have an idea as to what I'm looking for, but there's always room for adjustment. You should have compassion, or at least an interest in developing it. I find arrogance and dishonesty very unattractive, but a sarcastic sense of humor is tolerable... I would like to find a man with kind eyes who gives affection freely and who tries to understand more and assumes less. My idea of a great date would be doing something I haven't done, and that the kiss goodnight would weaken my knees....

    I spend much of my time with my children. I have raised them on my own for the last 6 years. So much of my time has been spent carring for them. Now that they are getting older they are secure in who they are and becoming more independent. This has allowed me more free time to pursue a relationship.As far as music I enjoy Contemporary Christian, Praise and Worship. I have not seen a movie that is rated over PG***for over 6 years. As far as Super Heros and Star Wars I am almost an expert! lol When I do get a chance to watch tv I prefer to watch crime drama or comedy shows.I have been raised in church and attended Bible College for youth ministry in 95 and later came back to my area an worked with at risk youth. God opened the door for me to go through the Police Acadamy were I graduated and pursued a career in Law Enfocement. I work as a patrolman and worked for the Juveline Court in my area. Later when I married and began having children it became difficult being both mom and a police officer so I willingly gave up my career in order to be a stay at home mom. Now that the boys are all in school I am currently back in college to get a degree in counseling.My boys are very loving and want to have a stepdad that will be involved in their lives. We are open and ready to see what God has for us next. I have been blessed with Godly people in my life that helped me get through these last 6 years. My faith is very important to me and I am determined to raise my children in a Godly home.If you do not want young children (11,9,8 and 6) or feel you are to old to raise children PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND. Also please honestly consider if you are the type of person who could love and raise another mans offspring as your own. Their father will never have custody of them but they love their dad. If you can not handle them seeing their dad on a monthly basis or calling once a week we are not for you! Dinner and talking. I am at a point in my life that I want "all the cards on the table"
