I've been on this site before, met some great people (some not so great people), and unfortunately, not someone I wanted to spend more time with. Below is my previous profile... If it interests you, I'd love to chat and get to know you. I love fast cars (and mine is SO pretty!) ;-) Are you brave enough to take a ride with me? I only relocated from Maui in mid- Maybe you'd like to re- I am ridiculously passionate about college football and enjoy a good beer while watching the Game.- LOL... so we can agree to disagree (or get in to some fun debates) but please don't lead with "Let's talk about the Ducks" - I'd hate to delete someone who is otherwise wonderful - hahaha! :) I'm "mostly" kidding! In the interest of full disclosure: I am really not the "outdoors all the time" girl anymore. I see all these profiles with hiking, fishing, hunting and camping as a "must" (seemingly every minute of every day)... If that is you, I'm not The Girl for you! However, I am totally supportive of you enjoying these activities with "the guys' - This doesn't mean I'm afraid of nature, or even getting a little bit dirty! Just not every free moment, and with an equal balance of pampering :) And I'm not a complete prissy girl, so I am totally up for a hike somewhere gorgeous, and love walking around town or along the waterfront. And having spent the last 6 years on an island, I am ALWAYS up for the beach :) Also, I really need to start working out, so if you're not completely hard core (or at least not until I can catch up!) that is a bonus :)What about chemistry? I definitely want to get to know someone by sharing messages, but I am not looking for endless *** we meet. Let's be honest, don't we both know within the first 15 minutes if we have butterflies and want to see each other again for a "real" date" Biology is biology, and we have to have a connection. We can keep our first meeting simple, and let's hope for sparks! And before you ask, I don't give out my phone number until we are both sure we want our first "date" after we meet. And just so you know, all my pics are in the last 6 months or so. And by the way, I am not sure if it shows in any of my pictures, but I do have a small nose ring. I also have several tattoos - so if that isn't "your thing" - no hard feelings!WOW! This turned out to be WAY longer than I expected. PS: Did you really make it this far?? I'm 5'9" MOST of the time... when the day is done, and I kick off my shoes I'm only 5'5" :) I changed my profile stats since it can be shocking on a first date! (Especially if you "fudged" a little when listing your height!)PSS: Those who have read this far, and can keep the conversation going with more than just, "Hey," jump to the front of the line -

-40, triceps, pineapple, pizza. I got into competitive powerlifting a couple of years ago, and despite my size (I'm 5'4", ***lbs), I have had some success at local and national meets and am happy with the level of strength and overall fitness I've achieved. I compete with a phenomenal group of men and women who have become a second family to me. I love art and music; I make the first and appreciate the second, although I was force-fed piano lessons as a kid and am pretty sure I'd be a kick-ass xylophone player. I make a lot of large pieces of visual art for friends and family, and recently (finally!) set up my own studio so I can start selling some of my work.I am a writer and have worked professionally in the TV industry as well as written for magazines and stuff (no, not Penthouse Forum). I have a day job that I love, but have considered moving on to another profession at some point, although there aren't many jobs out there. I'm a licensed bartender but have never held a job doing that. I'm thinking about a switch to a fitness career.I have a dry sense of humor, but enjoy all sorts of movies and TV shows. As much as I enjoy reading, art, and music, I also enjoy great movies and TV--especially funny stuff like Arrested Development, The League, Weeds, and Parks and Rec. I love Will Ferrell movies--maybe they're not high art, but sometimes I just want to laugh! My dog is my regular companion, and I hope to meet another dog-parent or at least someone who also loves the company of dogs and other animals. If you're picky about dog hair and drool, I'm probably not the woman for you... I enjoy plays and live theater, especially improv, although I have trouble sitting still (not medically, I'm just a fidgety person--rather be doing than watching) and like venues like the Upfront and the Triple Door where there's space for socializing.I am a TERRIBLE dancer, but that doesn't mean I won't hit the dance floor for fun! And I'm highly trainable, so if you've got moves, I'm open to lessons. Fortunately, I'm in good physical shape and I'm not that heavy, so what I lack in grace I make up for in general delicacy, and I clean up real nice, so I'll at least look halfway decent in a dress, in your arms, on the dance floor!

The word I picked to describe myself is adventurous. I am not sure I have been completely successful as an adventurer but it is something I would like to get better at! I have a son and now that he is a little older ***yrs old) it is easier to go places and do things together. I decide a couple of years ago to make an effort to make some memories and we have. When I travel, I alway like to go somewhere new. I would love to elevate my cooking skills. My favorite movies are Boondock Saints, Book of Eli, Greenstreet Hooligans and all of Star Wars. I enjoy a variety of music but praise or worship music usually will restore my peace of mind. My immediate goals are to complete my bachelors degree and find a job or career that allows me to do something meaningful with my life. I would really like to find someone to just have fun with, for starters. I feel like there has been a dark cloud over my head for awhile and would like to leave that behind and step into the sun! I haven't been on a first date in a long time. I put that on the back burner while my son was younger. I suppose I would really like to do something that allows us to interact and talk. I like movies but you don't spend much time getting to know your date that way. Something low key and casual would be fine but truthfully, I want to have fun. I want to socialize and go to a comedy club and get to know people I have never met before and find ways to enrich my life. Let's go to the motorcycle show or a holiday party or coffee. Let's just do something.
