About Me

I'm a woman who almost always has a smile on her face. I look for the silver lining in every situation. I know God has a plan for me and I hold on to that even when it seems like things aren't going my way.I love to laugh and laugh easily. Sometimes at completely innapropriate things. I like to make others laugh too but don't always think quick on my feet. I usually come up with the *** 2 days too late.I'm pretty shy at first. I'm not completely the same person with everybody. I don't have multiple personalities... just different people draw out different aspects of me. I'm an observer but not very observant if that makes any sense at all.I'm not a daredevil. I have no desire to skydive, EVER! But I'd love to go ziplining. Maybe parasailing or in a hot air balloon. I love riding on the back of a motorcycle. I would consider learning to ride my own. I will write a book someday. I would love to learn to shoot. I love camping. I think I like fishing. I'd like to be a gardener someday.I love music. I will most often be listening to classic rock, country or contemporary christian. My favorite tv shows are Law and Order SVU, NCIS and Chopped. I love to read romance novels and home decor magazines. I did read the 50 shades books. No, I am not into that lifestyle.I have three kids. My 17 year old daughter lives with me full time and my 11 year old son lives with his dad but spends a few days of the week with me. He thinks mom is pretty boring on her own so hopes that I find a friend that likes to do cool stuff.I would like to find a man with nice eyes and an easy smile. Belief in God is an absolute must. I desire to lead a healthier life and be more active so it would be great if those are your goals also. Someone who is considerate of others' feelings and not judgemental. Someone who still has a lot of life and fun in them and isn't ready to just sit on the couch and retire. Someone who is more outgoing than myself (which doesn't take much) who will gently and patiently ease me past my own comfort zone to try new things. I'd like a man that can be strong and assertive without being an overbearing ass. I want to live life with purpose on purpose and would like to find someone with that same mindset. Hiking, walking along the waterfront, a street fair.... anything that isn't just sitting across the table from each other. Being fairly shy, small-talk isn't my strong suit especially with someone I've never met before so if there is some kind of activity that would kind of take the edge off.

    I am happy with my life. I have 3 children, a job that I thoroughly enjoy, and amazing friends and family. However, I have room for my soulmate.; so has any urge to have to "fix" broken people.     The word I picked to describe myself is adventurous. I am not sure I have been completely successful as an adventurer but it is something I would like to get better at! I have a son and now that he is a little older ***yrs old) it is easier to go places and do things together. I decide a couple of years ago to make an effort to make some memories and we have. When I travel, I alway like to go somewhere new. I would love to elevate my cooking skills. My favorite movies are Boondock Saints, Book of Eli, Greenstreet Hooligans and all of Star Wars. I enjoy a variety of music but praise or worship music usually will restore my peace of mind. My immediate goals are to complete my bachelors degree and find a job or career that allows me to do something meaningful with my life. I would really like to find someone to just have fun with, for starters. I feel like there has been a dark cloud over my head for awhile and would like to leave that behind and step into the sun! I haven't been on a first date in a long time. I put that on the back burner while my son was younger. I suppose I would really like to do something that allows us to interact and talk. I like movies but you don't spend much time getting to know your date that way. Something low key and casual would be fine but truthfully, I want to have fun. I want to socialize and go to a comedy club and get to know people I have never met before and find ways to enrich my life. Let's go to the motorcycle show or a holiday party or coffee. Let's just do something.
