I just signed up on here on Saturday, so bear with me....I will share a little about myself as best I can...As far as some of the things I have enjoyed doing in the last year would be attending little league with my boys and I have recently started exploring AZ a little more through not just road trips and day trips, but also through urban races that a friend of mine put on (think of a mini amazing race). I am active in the neighborhood....and I know that sounds strange....but the moms and I in this community get along well and we spend an evening or two a week sitting outside and talking while the kids all ride bikes and play...I have a great little neighborhood and feel very fortunate to have my home where I do. Not just for the neighbors, but also for the schools and sporting activities that my boys participate in. I do what I can to support cancer research by doing some fundraisers/5k's and also for children's charities like spreading the word to teens and young adults about Safe Baby Haven.As to what I am looking for, well, there are so many qualities that add to a relationship...but I would say humor and the ability to communicate. If those two qualities exist in a relationship, I feel many of the unnecessary troubles, conflicts and misunderstandings are avoided. Also, if someone a good father (or just enjoys kids even if they don't have any of their own) and who doesn't mind being playful and silly sometimes to make any or all kids giggle....or to go outside for a game of catch, well, those things will always bring a smile to my face and warm my heart.On the weekends or evenings when I am not at work I can be found out doing charity runs (even if it is just a 5k walk), weekend road trips to the water or up to the mountains...my time with the neighbors and being out in the fresh air.......reading....cooking...watching football by the fire in the fall and winter....movie nights with my boys....spending quality time with a significant other.....having good, engaging conversation with those I care about....going to the park....having coffee....and unfortunately cleaning the house and running errands!

    What to say about me... I'm not much good at this sort of thing. I am a the type of person that values friendship and honesty very much. I love doing everything from hanging with my friends and family, listening to music, being outdoors, going to festivals and amusement parks, camping, riding the river, watching a great sunset to hanging out at home with the people that mean the most to me or just relaxing and reading a good book. I love basically most types of music, ie.. One of my favortire things to do is catch live music but I must admit I prefer the smaller venues over the large arenas. And let's not forget I absolutely love hockey, nothing like experiencing a high energy intense game live, I have to admit I the AEROS. I am not the type of person you will find jumping out of a perfectly good airplane but I will be on the ground excited and cheering you on waiting for you to land safely. I'm the type of person you will find smiling and laughing almost all the time. I try my best to find the good in everyone. I'm not into playing head games and I try to be as honest and open with everyone as this quality is important to me as well and I hope my friends value this and treat me the same. ... Some of the traits I'm looking for are...Someone that doesn't run completely from responsibility. Someone that doesn't have a problem getting their hands dirty with the best of them or acting like a kid but at the same time can *** an adult when the time is called for that as well. Someone that values honesty and openess - no games.. there is no reason for them we are all adults right. I want someone that can shoot from the hip - basically someone straightforward. Someone that can make the most of any given situation. Someone that i can find myself getting lost in endless conversation about nothing and everything. Someone that I look forward to spending time with no matter what we are doing. Someone I can play with and also understands that anything good in life depends on what you put into it. Someone that understands that there will be good times and bad but he's willing to work through them as the good times will always outweight the other. Let's face it when you have someone you enjoy spending tiem with even the smallest things you doing are more enjoyable. You know that person who eventually becomes your best friend. Not necessarily expecting things to happen immediately but letting things happen natually as they may. But that is just the tip of the iceberg... if there is something you want to know, don't be afraid to ask as I'm likely to tell ya. I don't bite.. well that depends.. -- have a great one! Anything low key where you can actually spend time talkng getting to know one another.
