Hi there… I have never taken the time to write a big long profile, I always figured that getting to know someone personally helps two people get comfortable with meeting face to face eventually. But I really feel like a lot of time and energy can be wasted with this approach so I’m going to lay it out to you guys here. Firstly, about me… I’m really a no nonsense kind of gal. I am a virgo, so if you don’t already know, I am loyal (almost to a fault). In the past, I was in an exhausting marriage where I gave all of me and got nothing in return for many years, so I am also cautious about how much I give of myself at first. I’m can be hard to open up; I will stand from a distance, listen, and process then evaluate every situation including the men I may consider seriously dating. But please know this up front, that if I want to let my guard down and let you in, that I am definitely all in. There will come a point where I may or may not feel this way, but if I do… I will make it very clear to you that this is where I’d like to go. This seems to be very common amongst the men that I have dated since my marriage ended just about two years ago. My feelings don’t get hurt very easily; I am very open and upfront. Communication on a real level is key and two people should never be afraid to communicate to one another.I am a fun girl, always like to have a good time. But, you will find out that I am not one of those inappropriate women where you don’t expect things to turn real. I’m very sociable, get along with most people, am totally willing to join your circle of friends and expect you to do the same. I don’t believe that two people should alienate themselves from friends to have a relationship. It’s necessary to do the couple thing and get some along time, but two people should definitely be able to join into each other’s circles fairly easily.Would like to find someone to rely on and you will definitely be able to do the same. I can take the lead, and will do so, but I can also follow someone else’s lead. Truthfully, I need a strong type of man who can take this lead and not abuse it or feel as if he can’t handle the lead.I expect monogamy; I really don’t feel like you can get to know a person in their wholeness unless you don’t have someone else on your mind or in your life. I understand that dating around is completely normal in early stages of meeting and dating, but at a certain point you know when it’s time to let which ones go. If you can’t do that for me at that point, you don’t deserve my time. I am not a jealous person, nor am I some psycho, but I am possessive over my relationships.
