Well here goes with the long-winded version...I am an emotionally stable, intelligent mother and student. I am currently working through my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology for social work. I am a very self-aware person and have realized that I am extremely empathetic with a great amount of passion for many things including helping people to achieve what they are truly working towards. I enjoy raising my girls and cherish every moment as I watch them grow and change and become who they want to be. I am passionate about cooking and very much enjoy creating my own spin on dishes. I am an avid fan of zombies (everyone is a little crazy) and generally you will find me listening to heavy metal and watching horror movies. Then again you may find me watching comedy and listening to Mozart. I am sarcastic which is generally quite fun, although my 5 year old is quite sarcastic herself and the jury is out as to whether I will spend most of my time in school in meetings since she is often quicker with the comebacks than I am (the student has somewhat surpassed the teacher). My teen is also sarcastic but I think that is more of a teen thing as I have ceased to be cool. I enjoy a variety of things but good conversation is the most important. I enjoy people who can keep up with me and challenge me. I may be a bit stubborn to admit I am wrong, but if you know and can prove that you are right then you will win. :-) I do not have a particular 'type' of person that I am looking for. No matter how many times people say it, it still holds true that the real beauty in a person is what is felt, not what is seen. Honesty and responsibility are big for me. I do ask that people be adults on here. I am a social worker and work with the Seriously Mentally Ill. I have always found working in the social services field to be very rewarding, as well as challenging. I hope to finish my Master's in Psychology within the next year or so. I would have to say that I am a very active person in and around the house. I love to garden and do home repairs. I do, however, enjoy going out to the movies, dining out with friends and family, camping, hiking, and I love to travel. I tend to me a goofball and love to laugh (especially at myself). I have always felt that a healthy sense of humor is an attractive trait and that taking life too seriously is not good for your health. There is just too much in life that can cause stress. I like unconventional dates. Dinner and a movie is fine, however I really love doing something different. I could go for a paintball match, a paint your own pottery shop, or a stroll through the local park. I enjoy diversity. Whatever the first date would be, it would be the company that counts.
