This is sooo not what I am used to doing, but here goes... I am a very down to earth girl. I just want to meet someone who can make me laugh and who wants to be a compliment to my life, not try to turn it upside down. I am very sarcastic and need someone who can "dish it out as well as they take it" without being really mean :) I love the beach or the water and being in a boat. I am very close to my family. I don't have any romantic comedy movie notion of what a relationship should be, but do admit that the things I find romantic and sexy have surely changed as I have gotten older. Where it used to be flowers and grand gestures (rarely ever seen), now it is basically someone who cleans up after themselves and maybe even vacuums or does the dishes from time to time! lol! The most important things for a man to have to impress me are honesty and loyalty!! I love to laugh and joke around. I love my friends! I am pretty open to different music types, just depends on if I like the beat or the lyrics. Love live music the best! There are some really good local bands in this area... Not really into rap but have had some songs that I have liked from time to time. I want to just be a good mom, daughter, aunt and friend!. I Provide for my daughter and want to give her the best childhood possible.-) I also love to try to fish, I really suck at it, but I love being near the water for any reason! To be perfectly honest, this stuff scares the hell out of me! I used to be a great flirt and had no problem talking to guys, but I went for a long time (marriage) without doing it and have apparently forgotten how! Now, I tend to talk too much about stupid crap when I get nervous, lol! I apologize in advance if I sound like a spaz:)Btw, after looking around on here I see an alarming amount of men who post pics of themselves shirtless in what seems to be a public men's room mirror, ummm those guys need not contact me, just sayin... Well, if meeting someone on here, I have to admit I would have to err to the cautious side and say that it would have to be in a public place. I hope that the person would not be offended when I make regular check ins with a friend or family member to let them know that I am ok and you are not a creepy murderer...) or just listening to some good music. I'm not so good with the whole PDA thing when getting to know someone, so would be totally turned off by someone trying to make out with me or getting too handsy on a first date (know this from past experience).

I'm a 38yr old christian woman. I have been blessed in my life with a 2yr old Granddaughter from my 20yr old daughter & 21yr old son n law. We are all very close and spend a lot of time together. I also have a 16yr old son. First let me say, I don't judge by looks alone because I'm not perfect, but there has to be some amount of physical attraction in each relationship. Second, I don't mind a few tattoos; as long as they don't look Satanic. I will NOT date a smoker, someone that drinks every night; and I am severely allergic to cats. I do try to do what's right in my life; and I expect that a man should try do the same. Last, I could not date someone who does not at least believe in God. As for the things I like to do and can do, they are partly listed. I try to do as much as my body will physically allow me to but that is somewhat limited due to several extensive surgeries I've had. I have no problem elaborating, explaining, or educating you if you if you have questions. As for my loves or hobbies: I have a dog(Jackihuahua) that I love like a child. I love to sing, write music, play the piano(which I started at age 7), and several other *** also like to bowl, watch movies, play putt putt, and go to football games, etc. However; my biggest love is of my sweet & sassy little Granddaughter. I'm looking for a great man to spend time with. I'm tender hearted, passionate, faithful & brutally honest to a fault, yet somewhat gaurded due to my medical problems and how mean people can be. Also, if you are very quiet and shy, I'm not-nor modest and never have been. So, if you're looking for someone who never voices their opinion we won't work. However, I'm not a loud mouth, and don't like to fight. I can be teritorial when it comes to family and the people I care about most. If you aren't looking for a serious relationship with 1 person, please don't waste my time! Oh, is it too much to ask to be clean, smell good, and have your teeth brushed, Really? Music: Country, Classic Rock, Oldies, some contemporary christian, and a little bit of other things in small portions. Movies: Horror, Sci- I also like Football(Redskins, Panthers, &; Kasey Kayne). For a first date I think it's good to be able to let loose, be yourself, and get to see your dates silly side. Something like a meal first then maybe putt putt, bowling, heck a firing range, lazer tag, a lazy river on an inner tube, swimming, who cares as long as we can have fun.
