*UPDATE* ***I'm currently in contract to buy my first house and an due to close soon! Yay! Also training for Hero Rush. Next step returning to school and getting a newer car!I have been through quite a bit over the last few years, and I've decided to make ***the year I take back control of my life. I'm currently making plans to return to school with the hopes of getting into UF's Pharmacy program. I am working towards home ownership. I have become way more fit and healthy and am always striving to be more so.I am fair-skinned, with dark reddish brown hair that is fairly long and very curly. My eyes fluctuate from blue to green, depending upon the amount light and to an extent my mood. I have all my teeth. Except my baby teeth and wisdom teeth. :-D I have no tattoos at this point in time and the only piercings are boring old earring holes. Once my belly is flat(ish) I may get it pierced in celebration!I am 5'5" and average size, though curvier and larger than I would like (hence my working out). I have a bubble butt! I have actually lost a fair amount of weight this year, and am working on getting even more fit. I'll go for a turkey wrap with spinach and guac, but the cheesecake and prime rib will totally tempt me away.I am more inclined to date a man of culture and intellect than a bad boy. And while I am open to friendships with all types, I have simply no interest in dating rednecks or thugs. I find well spoken, thoughtful, creative, smart, hard working men to be incredibly hot. Sure I like to look at pretty boys, but if there isn't much substance I won't be interested for long.I do not *need* a man. I can change my own car battery, mow my own lawn, pay my bills just fine, and take care of my own needs just fine. I would rather stay single than be in a relationship with someone who does not make me smile and laugh, tingle in my toes from time to time, and feel appreciated. But I do *want* to find that. And I'm happy to find nice people with similar interests along the way.I have in the past gotten many messages asking why I was single. I suppose if I knew for sure maybe I wouldn't be. But my best honest guess is that if I weren't as shy, had more time and energy to go out looking, and wanted a relationship more than I wanted to be with the right person, I wouldn't be single very much. Hmm...I actually am given a chance to talk about me, me and me. I guess I can start off with saying that I can be both very quiet and reserved and yet I can also be the center of attention. I'm not afraid to be a big goof and laugh at myself when I am with my friends and family but at work I am much more reserved and professional. I work with kids with special needs. It is very stressfull and emotionally draining but it is also so fulfilling. I am one of the most caring and giving people you will meet. I realy consider other peoples feelings and how my actions and words might affect others. Sometimes this is my downfall as I always give and never find people to give back..only take.My favorite place to go to is the ocean. There is nothing like laying in bed at night and hearing the sound of the waves crash and the smell of the salt water. I would love to go back and live by the ocean someday or at least travel and visit it ALL the time. I love camping, four- I love things that challenge me. I will try everything at least once. I was in the military for several years so I know how to get down and dirty and work hard. At work I have to dress up but I'm not a huge fan of it. I am a girl who loves her jeans and flip flops. Don't get me wrong..if you give me a reason to dress up I will rise to the occasion and dress to impress. talk...giggle..laugh
