I am on here because I spend 95% of my life in the world of a 7 year old and have since he was born. We do hang out with my friends and family a lot, but it usually still revolves around the kids and is typically family/couples. I took the time I needed to be 100% committed to myself and my son and now I am more than ready to meet someone who wants to share our lives and start a family. I am absolutely not here for games or serial dating. I signed up a few months ago and I have to say, this may never feel natural or comfortable. I am very much a people person, thrive on being social with face to face interactions and connections. I would prefer to find someone who has a child or children (preferably younger...like my sons age), but am open to someone who does not, as long as they have a big heart and are good with kids.- My friends will tell you that I am a very caring person who gives more than takes. I love having someone around me to take care of (as long as it is mutual and not one sided). Teamwork. - I am confident, secure, trustworthy and chill. I get a long with everyone, love to have fun and be positive.-I am not into the club scene. Once in a while I like going out with my girlfriends, but there are so many cool bars and restaurants I want to check out. And a lot of times even better to just stay in, cook and watch a movie or grill and bonfire!- I have a lot of compassion. I love animals and old people and want to help whoever I can whenever I can. Sometimes a little effort can make a huge difference in someones life. I enjoy volunteering my time to those in need. - I don't take life too serious (I do and can when necessary). I love to joke around and be sarcastic. I will make fun of myself/others and I expect it in return (within reason).-I am an avid Snowboarder and Wakeboarder. This is my passion and has been my life. I would love to meet someone who shares this.-I am a full time***mom. My son comes first. I don't have a lot of time, but if we connect and things seem to go in the right direction, I will be making the time. We (my son and I) are ready to share our life with another person. I am not looking for a replacement father, but I would love to have someone solid by my side while raising him. -I love adventures. -I am active. I always strive to be in better shape. I try hard to eat clean most of the time and love to cook healthy (and occasionally not-as-healthy) foods. -I prefer casual (jeans, t-shirt, flip flops and a trucker hat), but I love getting dressed up and going out as well. That is definitely needed once in a while! -I am looking for friendship first. Of course I am looking for a long term relationship, but I believe that starts with friendship. I have mixed feelings about hunting, but just don't want to be involved in it at all. Dead animals and I don't mix. A simple coffee or drink will do the trick. Short 'n sweet. I don't think it takes long to know if there is a connection or not.I don't mind chatting/texting a bit to see if its worth getting together, but if we can not set something up to meet in person fairly quick, I won't continue. :)

I've edited this a couple times because I'm just not good at describing myself but maybe the third time's the charm. :)I have two children who are my world! My son's 16 and my daughter's 3. I have a full time job and I'm a full time mom (and dad to my daughter) so I don't have a lot of "free" time to go out and meet someone. That's why I'm back here. I'm not into the bar scene but do drink occassionally, just not often. I'd much rather hang out at a friends, or at home, have a few drinks and not worry about how I'm getting home then pay an outrageuos amount of money for a couple drinks and hope the designated driver stayed sober. I can tolerate just about any type of music but usually end up listening to country, r&b or rap. The best songs are ones you can relate to, regardless of the "category". I'm pretty easy going but that doesn't mean I always bite my tongue. If I feel strongly about something I'll let it be known. But, despite having my own beliefs I'm still able to see things through other people's eyes. I enjoy a good debate, where there's no right or wrong answer because I like being challenged to think outside the box. I might not always like what's outside the box but I still go there. lolI'm definately not high maintenance! I don't have to have my hair fixed perfectly and make up on before stepping outside. And it doesn't take me hours to get ready to go out. I'm most comfortable wearing shorts and a t shirt.I enjoy watching the Panthers, but don't enjoy watching them loose every Sunday. I also enjoy basketball and tennis although I don't play that often. I would enjoy shooting pool if my balls ever went where I thought they should go. But I'm not always a sore looser so I keep playing. :)I'm not looking for a man to take care of me and my children. I think I'm doing a pretty good job of that myself. But I would like a man to spend my spare time with. I love my kids to death but I'm really starting to miss the adult conversations and companionship that comes witht a committed relationship. I'm not expecting it to happen over night but I'm also not expecting the conversations to stay purely online. However, that doesn't mean I'll give you my number after a quick hello. I want to know that we actually have something to talk about before moving from the computer screen to phone.I'm looking for someone who can keep a conversation going. I'm used to putting forth A LOT of effort into conversations with a teenager and preschooler. I refuse to do the same with an adult. I don't want another child to raise so if you don't have a job, car, and your own place, we probably won't hit it off. If you don't have all your teeth, it's not going to work, either. Sorry, but we all have turn offs and I've realized it's important to list "teeth" as a requirement.
