About Me

I know my way around a kitchen and am not afraid to try anything new. I also love fresh veggies, especially cooked on the grill. My looks mirror the Irish side, my cooking mirrors my Italian roots. Not sure about the Indian part, lol...I work full time (on night shift right now) and have full custody of my 11 yr old son. To say he is my world is an understatement. Besides, shouldn't your children be your world? Nobody should have to say it, it should be a given. We have a tiny little chihuahua and a hamster. Lol, they are pretty close to the same size! You must like animals. And children for that matter. It's ok if you don't have any, but you have to know that getting serious with someone who does will eventually involve the children. And they must feel included when we are all together. I will always show your children attention and make them feel like the blessing that they are.***) respect for others, love for your family, good with kids and animals, a man who loves the outdoors, one who can cook (not just grill, but actually prepare a good meal), sincere eyes, honesty. **Turn off's include bad breath, rude behavior, foul language, excessive drinking, acting better than others, insecurity, aggressive driving. I love the outdoors, hiking, horseback riding, parks, the zoo... I take pride in the fact that I can do things on my own. I don't have much, but I'm not materialistic. I appreciate the little things in life. Dinner with family or friends. I do not judge others, and don't care to be around people who put others down. Just shows your character. We are all different. And not one of us is perfect.I'm not into going to bars, hardly ever drink, and do NOT use any kind of drugs. If you use drugs (ANY kind including pain pills, smoking pot, whatever) keep on looking. Life is too short to waste it being wasted. First date?.. yummmm.Or, how about we go geo-caching? It's a fun way to get to know each other, out on a trail or in a park.

    Thank you for viewing my profile. Short version = I'm a good person :)Long version, for those who really want to know:While my goal is to eventually find a potential long term relationship, I'm not in a hurry for it and I won't commit lightly or quickly...I am enjoying meeting new people and have made some great friends that I love to hang out with. I'm an honest person and expect honesty in return..friends first.I enjoy just about anything when I enjoy the people I'm with. I don't really like heights, but other than that...let's go! I'm a pretty random person and enjoy trying new things (the most recent is kickboxing...loving it). I love a good sense of humor, intelligent conversation, and sanity most of the time is definitely a plus :P (though those few insane moments can be fun). I don't mind drinking socially every now and then, and I usually have fun if I ever hit the bar scene, but chose "I do not drink" because it's just not something I do often enough these days to qualify me as a social drinker. I was divorced three years ago from my high school sweetheart and have two awesome teenagers (girl 15, boy ***who are my best friends. I have them half the time. They're open to me dating again and have made me promise "no creeps" :P haha....however, I still have not introduced them to anyone and things would have to be going pretty well before I would. I welcome inquiries from people who have children themselves. If I care about someone, I am also sure to care about the people that mean the most to them. How Dating Works for Me:We meet up to see if there's any mutual interest...if there is, we can go out. If we enjoy going out, we can go out again...rinse and repeat....that's it..that simple. If at some point we want to be exclusive, great, let's talk about it....other than that, no expectations other than honesty and open communication.
