I'm here to make friends first as the best relationships start out as friends. First and foremost: I'm a single mom and very devoted to my children, who are my world. My kids come first and always will. My children are my greatest joy and I love spending time with them. I don't allow them to meet people I don't know well, so don't be offended if I don't take you around them. My top priority is their safety and happiness. I trust very few people enough to let them watch my kids so that I may go out. Going out is not as important as my children's safety and well being. This does not mean I don't want to meet someone but I believe that the day my children came into this world my wants were no longer as important as their needs. I believe that honesty is the most important thing in the world. I am always honest, however the answer I give may not be what is expected and I can be rather blunt. I am not perfect nor do I expect it from others. I do however expect to be treated with respect. I treat others as I would like to be treated. I believe that personal happiness is my own responsibility and I am the one who controls whether I have a good day or bad. I don't need a man in my life to make me "complete" so if you want a female to dote on your every whim I'm not her. I have been single for the past four years and do not feel the need to be anything other than that. A relationship with a good guy would be nice but I'm not rushing into any relationship. I find that friendship is far more valuable to me than having a boyfriend. I'm a down home tough country girl who grew up on a farm and knows what it is to work hard. I'm country to the core and can take care of myself so I don't need your protection. I do however appreciate a man who stands up for a Lady and defends her rights. I will say that if I meet you and you invade my personal space by placing your hands on me without my permission you will likely end up being hurt. I do not tolerate those who are disrespectful of my person. I respect myself and expect you to respect me as well. I don't care if you have female friends as I have male friends. If we meet and "click" I will not give up my male friends nor would I expect you to give up your female friends. Jealousy has no place in ANY relationship, including but not limited to friendship. I get along better with males than females because I'm more interested in cars, tools, and dirt than I am the latest fashion or who is doing what. Besides most females are very "catty" which I'm not. I like to fish, can skin and dress a deer, have changed the oil in my vehicle and do lots of other things that might break a nail :) I clean up well and can look like the Lady I am when called for but I prefer jeans and a nice blouse to dresses and heels. I would rather go fishing or work on a vehicle than go to the mall. Money doesn't buy happiness it buys the necessities of life. Happiness is not gained by material things but by following the heart. I enjoy listening to a wide variety of music but hard rock, metal, some hip-hop(its fun to dance to) are what I listen to the most. I can go anywhere and enjoy myself or I can stay home and enjoy that as well. If you want to know anything about me ask. If I feel it is a personal question I will inform you of this. I will not lie nor do I have time for those who do. I'm looking for someone who is interested in what is between my ears not what is between my legs.
