I worked as an economist for a year, I decided to quit my job to pursue my passion of getting my degree in graphic design. About a year ago, I was laid off from my design job and it’s been the best thing that has ever happened to me. When one door closes, another definitely opens.Recently, I bought my first house and spend a lot of my free time spackling, painting and decorating. My porch is one of my favorite places — I love relaxing out there with a glass of wine (or a beer!) and a good book.Living an active, healthy life is very important to me. I try to workout pretty much every day, I love running or hiking with my dog — anything to get outside. I also enjoy cooking (maybe I should call it experimenting?) and love trying to come up with new, healthy meals to make. I more than happy hanging at home, watching movies (I’m probably the only person you’ll know who has a 52” flat screen and no cable) but I do clean up pretty well and also enjoy going out, trying new restaurants, going to concerts and shows, etc.I'm a total beach bum and I'm always up for a road trip.
