About Me

OK...I was on this site in the past, and can't say I was too impressed. Sure a lot of you feel the same..lol. I am one of the few, at least I hope there are more like me out there, who actually do not enjoy playing games and hiding behind my computer. I want to get out and meet someone at least halfway "sane" and do things..get outside, go for a drive, a hike, out to eat, movies etc. I hear of success stories, yet am kind of hoping I will end up one myself :)I like to take care of myself..and NO this does not mean I am "high maintenance" lol..Oh well, I guess that's for the guy that messages me and has guts to find out..haha. I like to joke, but know when to be serious. I love animals, and hate people who are cruel to them. I swear I like animals more than people. I love a guy that can make me laugh, and has a very strong sense of who he is..confidence is a must.FYI to some of the guys on this site, don't bs about your height, if you have hair, or your age. It's not like you can really keep that from someone so why bother?? I'm sure women are guilty of this as well! No pics wearing beaters, or shirts off in front of the mirror..clearly screams DBag. I like to call this a first meeting, not a first date. If the company is right, and everything is going smoothly, a coffee could lead to dinner..We all know how awkward dates can be, so why put any sort of pressure on it? :) Simple is the way to go..then it feels better for both parties.

    I started ballroom dancing two years ago and it completely changed my life!!! I have more energy, passion, and am happier than I ever thought possible :-). Don't worry, I already have a dance partner and you will not be required to dance, but there will be bonus points if you can put up with holding my hand while I do walk around or under arm turns for practice ;)I'm pretty active. I usually do four dance lessons a week, sometimes ballet, am just getting into running, do yoga occasionally, and love walking around the lakes near me. I don't have a gym membership, but also don't have cable tv.I'm almost always up for happy hour! Red wine is my beverage of choice in case you're curious :-)I'm in to healthy eating; but am willing to pretend that dark chocolate (especially in a mocha) counts ;)I love to travel; including cruises, Europe, and pretty much anywhere you can have your toes in sand and a beverage in your hand :-)Deal breaker part... dun dun dunnnn... I'm divorced (for over a year) and definitely up for dating but I'm REALLY enjoying being single and independent and strong and... well if you are on a time table to quickly meet someone and get married I'm probably not the one right now. Don't worry I'm not bitter, it was an amicable thing (read no lawyers and we rode together to get it signed); but just being honest on where I am in my life journey. My deal breakers...
