So write about myself...Basically, I'm a girl who works hard, watches lots of sports, hangs out at the lake when the temperatures aren't frigid, and enjoys time with my friends and family. I decided to try meetville since it's a little bit difficult to meet people my age in other venues. After spending several years in school (multiple degrees, not because I couldn't pass) and then getting started in my career, I decided it's time to focus more on other important parts of life. A couple of my friends have tried dating sites and have actually met some nice guys (that are still around). I figure it can't be any worse than meeting men at a local bar.I have a good job and pay all of my own bills (and expect my mate to do the same). I am not looking for a provider, but a life partner. For whatever reason, my career-mindedness freaks a lot of men out. I am NOT a work-a-holic by any stretch of the imagination, but I do value my career and take it seriously.I don't really have a specific type of guy that I'm looking for, and yes, I realize that probably every profile that you read says that.     Well... back again, didn't think I would be but things don't always turn out as we expect or hope! My last profile I wrote on it that I don't think anyone reads these and almost everyone who sent me a message proved me wrong, so I will assume this is being read and not simply an opportunity to practice my creative writing and typing skills... which are very good by the way!A bit about me.... I'm a successful (really this is subjective and relative), happy, confident and glass half full kind of person. I have my sh*ttogether! I have a fabulous family with whom I am very close and a wonderful network of friends, all of these people are extremely important to me! I love music and almost always have something playing. One of my favorite things is my morning drive to work with the music cranked and singing at the top of my lungs. Oh yeah, I don't sing well at all, earplugs are optional but highly recommended! I am very independent, I don't "need" anyone, but I would like someone to share life with. I'm an avid Rider and NHL (Leafs) fan, yeah, I know, the Leafs.... I've heard all the jokes! A year ago this would have looked somewhat differently, but through personal growth and experience I've altered my view on the elusive "perfect" (again, subjective) man! Looking for someone genuine, honest and trustworthy. Someone who is fun to be with, can joke and not take things too seriously but is serious when the occasion calls for it, someone who isn't easily offended. A man with a kind heart and generous spirit... someone real and normal (sadly, that does need to be said!)! LOL! No games, no players, no meetville for lifers (I don't get the draw to stay on here forever? But there are people who seem to never want off). Location isn't overly important, no worries if you don't live in Saskatoon as long as both people are willing to make the effort it shouldn't be an insurmountable obstacle. If you are a farmer or country boy, don't assume since I live in the city I wouldn't be interested. I've recently been exposed a little bit to country life and feel drawn to it.
