-town girl, but have lived all over the US and spent lots of time abroad. I have backpacked through Europe for 3 months by myself (I am still telling stories from my adventure) and spent a semester abroud in Austria. I like to be productive and active, but that doesn't mean I cannot spend a lazy Sunday on the couch watching golf or football (those are my sports, but if you are a basketball or NASCAR fan, I am sure we can find some compromise). I like to think I have found that balance in my life. I love to bake (I make killer cupcakes) and am learning how to cook without setting off a fire alarm. I am always looking for new food/restaurants/farmers markets, adventure, fashion, kitchen gadgets, antiques and more... I love country music but listen to all kinds of other music too...not much that I don't like!I do have a six and a half year old daughter who is the best, most easy-going kid I know. She is so good and sweet and pure...I love seeing the world through her eyes. She is definitely not "baggage", but rather the icing on the cake in my life ;-) I know exactly who I am and what I want in a partner... Seriously and most importantly, mutual respect and admiration for each other. Having independant interests and activities, but knowing at the end of the day that the idea that being together is the best part and giving each other the encouragement to dream big and live bigger! I am looking for someone who stands up for their own self and who can also stand up for me when I need it. I want to be with someone who is independent, educated, funny (witty, not who has read ***knock knock jokes) and adventurous, but who can also come home, turn on a stupid movie and just enjoy each other's company. I think having expectations puts too much pressure on people, I say "go with the flow and see where it gets us..."!!!

Hello there! I am always reading something, mostly fiction and for pleasure. I enjoy being out with friends, sometimes at bars, sometimes catching a movie, sometimes just hanging for good conversation and laughter. I am a 36 yr old divorced mother of one beautiful, smart, and kind 17 yr old daughter. I love to hang out with my friends and family. Other than my daughter my loves in life are singing and cooking/baking most of the time I do them at the same time. I drink very rarely. Other things I love to do are camping, fishing, and going 4x4ing, and horseback riding (yes I own a horse). I have rescued animals for a long time. I am looking for someone who is in pretty good shape as I am trying to get into shape and need someone who will support me in my decision to make better choices. Someone who is faithful and has NEVER cheated, my philosophy is if you don't want to be with someone then leave so if you are in a relationship don not bother me. You need to have a good job and a reliable vehicle along with a place of your own (non parental roommate is acceptable). My situation is I am a nanny and live - in caretaker of my sister who has a multitude of medical issues that include MS and diabetes she is also about to undergo a procedure to replace the stems cells in her bone marrow. I am about to go back to school (hopefully in the spring) for medical billing and coding and one day I hope to open my own Deli. I pretty much like all music but I sing mostly country.
