-town girl, but have lived all over the US and spent lots of time abroad. I have backpacked through Europe for 3 months by myself (I am still telling stories from my adventure) and spent a semester abroud in Austria. Traveling is a passion for me and I am always dreaming about my next trip, even if that is a day trip in the car to a new local spot I haven't explored! My friends say that I am loyal, funny, kind, laid-back, happy, and grounded. I can be super "girlie" and love getting dolled up and going somewhere fancy, but I also love to pack up the tent and camping for a couple days in the dirt or sand. I am not afraid to get dirty and love to be outside as much as possible. I like to be productive and active, but that doesn't mean I cannot spend a lazy Sunday on the couch watching golf or football (those are my sports, but if you are a basketball or NASCAR fan, I am sure we can find some compromise). I like to think I have found that balance in my life. I love to bake (I make killer cupcakes) and am learning how to cook without setting off a fire alarm. I am always looking for new food/restaurants/farmers markets, adventure, fashion, kitchen gadgets, antiques and more... I love country music but listen to all kinds of other music too...not much that I don't like!I do have a six and a half year old daughter who is the best, most easy-going kid I know. She is so good and sweet and pure...I love seeing the world through her eyes. She is definitely not "baggage", but rather the icing on the cake in my life ;-) I know exactly who I am and what I want in a partner... Seriously and most importantly, mutual respect and admiration for each other. Having independant interests and activities, but knowing at the end of the day that the idea that being together is the best part and giving each other the encouragement to dream big and live bigger! I am looking for someone who stands up for their own self and who can also stand up for me when I need it. I want to be with someone who is independent, educated, funny (witty, not who has read ***knock knock jokes) and adventurous, but who can also come home, turn on a stupid movie and just enjoy each other's company. I think having expectations puts too much pressure on people, I say "go with the flow and see where it gets us..."!!!

A little more about me......I've celebrated the 10th anniversary of my 27th birthday and I'm sticking to it! Most people don't believe I'm over 30 anyway, so it works. Gotta love the young genes in my family. LOL I am a single mom to boys and loving it! I have such a wide variety of interests. There is no way I could ever list them all. My all time favorite thing to do is go for adventures......drives to anywhere or nowhere, walks or hikes to anywhere or nowhere or just simply trying new things. I like to hang-out with friends, play pool, darts, dance, movies, comedy shows......whatever. I also love to have nights in to just cuddle up on the couch with a good movie or a book.I am 5' 5" and fairly average in size. I have green eyes but my hair is multi-colored. Friends call me a chameleon. Ha! Ha! My hair is primarily a reddish blonde. But depending on the season, the weather and my mood, it can be really red, really blonde or a perfectly blended mix. I do have my blonde moments which I think are funny. I can definitely laugh at myself. I am fun and spontaneous. I am a very caring and giving woman. It can actually be considered a fault of mine at times. I am extremely positive and optimist, by nature. Some friends actually consider it annoying, at times. But they love me anyway. Ha! Ha! I do not drink regularly nor do I smoke. I am very active and love the outdoors. I like most sports. NFL is my favorite!- LOL), picinic dinner in the grass (cop-a-squat), cry watching a movie (while pretending not to), forgets why I was mad and loves with all her heart. I am truly one of a kind. Respect is important to me and I am a very firm believer in "Actions speak louder than words". Okay, let's do this!P.S. I am a very independent and patient woman. I ask that you be independent and patient, as well. However, if your life is so busy that you can't find 30 min to an hour to meet, you are not ready to date. Therefore, while you are waiting for opportunity to find you, I will be the one finding opportunities. Life is for living, not for waiting. Also, if you are just looking for a fling, please don't message me. For the "Meet and Greet", I think that meeting for coffee/tea or a park for a walk is a great way to start. My idea of a perfect "First Date" is to meet at a fun center of some kind. Whether that be putt-putt golf, bowling, arcade games, pool hall with darts or even a tree to tree adventure park. Let's get our game on and have a few laughs. I never take a game seriously. It is all in fun. As long as we are able to have a good time together, let's stop and get a bite to eat. This will give us a chance to sit and look at eachother for some good conversation. If all is well, we can make other plans from there. Maybe go for a walk or get a drink. You never know where time can take us.
