I have been divorced for 8 years so I am pretty used to doing things on my own, so I would need someone who can be patient with the fact that I may like to have things my way. I could learn to accommodate, but never at the sake of my self or independence. Im not looking for a father for my children, they have one, and he is very active in their lives, so I would need someone that could also deal with an ex-husband, lol. He and I have a pretty good friendship, so there is not much drama in that aspect of my life.I am self-employed...I am a nanny and work from home. I love this because it helps accommodate both my home life as well as my work life. I care for one child full time, and I love doing it. I love children. I have been around them all my life.I am relatively a pretty easy-going person. Forget what hurt you but never forget what it taught you.I'm never quite sure what to write and I'm not going to create a bunch of BS, which you usually find out to be false anyway. I just turned 39....yikes. I'm a caring, honest, and giving person. I have my own place, a good job, kids, but wanting someone special to spend time with and get to know better. I don't do the bar scene (I'm more of a homebody) and don't smoke. I like to volunteer.As you may have figured from my quote above I have been hurt, I'm not wanting to play games. I'm interested in finding a true connection with someone and see what happens. I want the whole package, a best friend, a shoulder to cry on, a partner in crime, a few inside jokes, a team, and most of all passion for each other. I know all this takes time and I'm willing to take it. I've decided that I want to enjoy life more and try new experiences, that being said I would really like to try kayaking. I am working at having a healthier lifestyle and it would be nice to have someone to get out and do things with. I've started yoga and exercise classes thru community ed. I also have just started volunteering with the animal humane society as I love animals and it gives me something to do.I hope that someone will be open to giving me a chance, I've been told I have a lot to offer but it's really hard to meet new people. Things I like hum.. I like evening walks on the beach, picnics in the park. I like watching movies cuddled on the couch or at the theater, curling up reading a good book when I have time.
