You managed to climb in your flip flops, with the help of a Bedouin. You take in the beautiful and breathtaking scenery, but now it's time to climb down and go back to camp. You are frozen...stiff...and cannot move...did I mention I am afraid of heights ? Long story short, yes, I made it down safe and sound and no I will never rock climb in the dessert, in my flip flops again! Most days of the week you can find me motivating, influencing and shaping young minds. Not to say that being in a classroom with 28 grade 5 students doesn't keep me on my toes, I do make time for doing the things I like and spending time with the people I care about. I love hitting the gym after a busy day at work. I am a bit of a gym nut and I am involved in several different classes that keep me motivated and strong. Also, I enjoy jogging and going for walks. I do take time to listen to music, read, cook and go for coffee (along with a good conversation and laughter); this will loosen me up for the week-end. Waking up Saturday morning, having breakfast in my p.j.'s, cleaning, going to the gym and making plans with family and friends, or having a quiet night in, is my way of winding down from a long week at work. I have an amazing life and want to share it with a great person. I am in a good place, happy and secure. I know how to balance hard work, fun and adventure. I love trying new activities and visiting new and interesting places. I like people who have brains, humour, wit, spunk, self-confidence (not narcissism), resilience, strength of character, a willingness to learn and be taught (humility), those who have been through some hardships in life and pushed through it (I am not going to make your lemonade for you). My nature is generous, sensitive and always sweet. My friends know me as an honest, responsible, genuine and a kind person. I am someone who looks at life challenges as lessons from which we can grow and become stronger.
