About Me

I'll make this short and sweet like me. I'm 36, No kids.. recently unemployed (flag #1) and I'm a hopeless yet idealistic romantic. My parents have been married for over 45 years and they are still very much in love.. That is what I'm looking for, I want it all! A spiritual, emotional, physical and intellectual explosion of chemistry. I don't think you have to settle for one to have the other and I wont stop until I get it..(prob why I'm 36 and still single with no kids). I feel children should be brought into this world surrounded by love and desire by two people who feel the same way.. No baby's momma will I be, no offense to all those out there. I admire you. I have been through all walks of life and can pretty much have a conversation with just about anyone.. even a nut-job. I have a dark, yet light and wild sense of humor and LOVE to laugh. I can laugh at myself.. no problem, but I'm really looking for that guy who keeps me giggling all the time. I'm not looking for any "reformed bad buys".. that prob just means you used to be a****and you prob still are, plus I've prob done much worse than you have :) If your profile has shirtless pics of you in front of your jet-ski or pounding a Pabst at the lake with your bros.. actually if your shirtless at all please don't respond, it's just too cheesy for me and makes me feel embarrassed for you.. I'm not a prude but I do have a strong set of morals and values that I try to adhere. I have traveled the world, taught middle school for 7 years and did some independent consulting and care-giving up until now. Although I would still like to work and am avidly job searching what I really want in life is to be the worlds most bad ass mom/caregiver. I'm a Cancer, we are born to nurture and love with abandon. Some might call me a free spirit or one who leads an alternative lifestyle but I don't like labels much. I have the soul of a pirate and I love the ocean. I feel most calm and serene hanging out on one the cliffs on the northern coast.. LOVE to fish and camp too. I've dated a couple of times on this site and I can honestly say with the exception of one (who is now in jail for stalking, assaulting, and car jacking etc.) we are still friends to this day. I believe everyone has value and friendships are important. People enter and exit your life for specific reasons, we just don't know what they are yet... right? I'm looking for a grown man who is non-judgmental, passionate, likes music, will dance at a wedding, bring me flowers sometimes and wants to find the one special lady for the rest of his life. Not into the bar scene at all.. not partying till i puke kinda love lol. I will stop now before you really start to figure out how odd I am :) Hmm. All depends on how we click, what we are into. I love good coffee and good chocolate.. Hanging out at the park, going to the zoo. Anything goes with me.     I spent most of my childhood dreaming of becoming a Pulitzer Prize winning reporter. I went to journalism school, graduated with decent grades, and wound up working for a tabloid newspaper. My first story was about a mother-daughter stripper team, which I followed up with a first person account of Nude Awareness Week. But when the nearby psychiatric hospital caught fire, and our front page headline was "Roasted Nuts," I realized a Pulitzer probably wasn't in my near future. But, I really loved that job. And then .... one night, while driving home from a friend's house, I rear- The priest sued me and the attorney who was hired to represent me offered me a job. I worked for his firm for several years and eventually decided to go to law school. Hey, there are worse ways to make a living. Years later, here I am. I am a huge fan of the Phillies and Eagles, and as a season ticket holder, I get to a lot of the games. I believe that Sundays are meant for football...unless it's baseball season. I am a NASCAR fan, and, yes, it's more than just left turns. I am terrified of spiders. I'll try almost anything once. I love my friends and family and am loyal to a fault. By the way, I spent all day on the phone, and am not looking for a pen pal. So let's just cut to the chase and just meet for a drink. The best first date is one that leads to a second date. Meeting for a drink, watching a game is a nice way to break the ice.

    I am pretty simple. I am a very nonjudgmental person. I have friends from every walk of life. My friends are my family. I can be shy at first but once comfortable, I open up. I enjoy most outside activities and sports with football being my absolute favorite! Rams, baby! I enjoy nights out with friends often and love to be active. Obviously I can always be in better shape. I would love someone to workout with, (currently my exercise alternates between bike rides, walking, swimming, and step aerobics) , but if you want a model's body, I'm not your gal. I'm also very content hanging out at home with my two dogs. I work full time and have been with the same organization for 15 years, working in special education.
