Not looking for a relationship? And at your age? What is wrong with you... I am a busy, responsible, independant mom of a 14 year old boy. He is my priority and I have him full time. I also want to mention I don't have the typical "every other weekend" off schedule that most single parents have. I have my son all the time since his dad lives out of state. Good thing he is a little older so he is pretty independent. Yes, I have a southern accent ; My friends and family would describe me as independent, honest, and quirky. I also tend to be sarcastic. I love to laugh - if you can make me laugh I might just keep you around. I'm also an animal lover - I have 2 dogs that I love and are like my kids! I like to stay in shape (and keep my sanity) by hitting the gym at least 5 days a week, and typically 6 or 7 days a week. I like a guy that stays in shape too. You don't have to live in the gym, but at least be active. ;-) I have been divorced for almost 10 years now, and really haven't had many long term relationships since. It's tough when you have a child full time. Most men just don't get it. Now that my son is little older and starting to do his own thing, it is easier for me to get away. I would love to get married again one day. Life is too short and I want to share my life with someone. My ideal man would be funny, successful, generous, active, and family oriented. . they say coffee is an interview, but I believe it's a good start. I think we will know within that short amount of time whether we want to see each other again.

Ok here goes this is definitely a new concept I found myself divorced after a 14 yr marriage 4yrs ago so the whole dating scene has changed , up until now I have not tried online dating, so here I am expanding my horizons as my friend says. I am a very dedicated mother first & foremost.I work as a nurse I love my profession and I work hard at what I do. On my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends & family all of whom will tell you I am a fun, free spirited, country girl. Hmmmmm well the ideal 1st date would be the one that is atypical. I want to be caught off guard blown away. Make me laugh surprise me do something fun & unexpected & god forbid don't make me choose I'm opinionated but if I have to plan our first date there may not be a second one.
