Not looking for a relationship? And at your age? What is wrong with you... I am a busy, responsible, independant mom of a 14 year old boy. He is my priority and I have him full time. I also want to mention I don't have the typical "every other weekend" off schedule that most single parents have. I have my son all the time since his dad lives out of state. Good thing he is a little older so he is pretty independent. Yes, I have a southern accent ; My friends and family would describe me as independent, honest, and quirky. I also tend to be sarcastic. I love to laugh - if you can make me laugh I might just keep you around. I'm also an animal lover - I have 2 dogs that I love and are like my kids! I like to stay in shape (and keep my sanity) by hitting the gym at least 5 days a week, and typically 6 or 7 days a week. I like a guy that stays in shape too. You don't have to live in the gym, but at least be active. ;-) I have been divorced for almost 10 years now, and really haven't had many long term relationships since. It's tough when you have a child full time. Most men just don't get it. Now that my son is little older and starting to do his own thing, it is easier for me to get away. I would love to get married again one day. Life is too short and I want to share my life with someone. My ideal man would be funny, successful, generous, active, and family oriented. . they say coffee is an interview, but I believe it's a good start. I think we will know within that short amount of time whether we want to see each other again.

I'm hardworking, have a a stable job that I've been at for almost 22 years. I own my home thanks to that job and love doing projects around the house from landscaping to redecorating. I mow my own grass and have been known to change a light bulb or two. I love to have a good time and laugh. I make the best out of any situation and try to make everything I do fun. I'm a little quite at first, taking in surroundings and the people, but then watch out. I enjoy good conversation, love to debate, need things to be logical and believe it or not I can admit when I'm wrong. I love trying anything (well almost anything) at least once. My latest adventure is looking to take on a 5k this Oct.
