I also want to mention I don't have the typical "every other weekend" off schedule that most single parents have. I have my son all the time since his dad lives out of state. I like to stay in shape (and keep my sanity) by hitting the gym at least 5 days a week, and typically 6 or 7 days a week. I like a guy that stays in shape too. You don't have to live in the gym, but at least be active. ;-) I have been divorced for almost 10 years now, and really haven't had many long term relationships since. It's tough when you have a child full time. Most men just don't get it. Now that my son is little older and starting to do his own thing, it is easier for me to get away. I would love to get married again one day. Life is too short and I want to share my life with someone. My ideal man would be funny, successful, generous, active, and family oriented. . they say coffee is an interview, but I believe it's a good start. I think we will know within that short amount of time whether we want to see each other again.

So my last boyfriend felt my schedule was too much of a hindrance to our relationship. He wanted someone to have dinner with every night. Guess he was looking for something more normal but with our society what exactly is considered normal. So if you have a problem with the fact I'm going to have to work nights weekends and holidays sometimes, please don't bother to contact me I can't take falling for someone again that ultimately decides it's too much of a burden. I also am probably going back to school to change this, but for now I do work an odd schedule. So a little about me, I'm generally a happy person, I'm active and I'm probably considered a nester. I take great pride in my home, it may be small and old but it's perfect for me for now. I crossfit, I lift heavy shit, I get bruised when I miss a box jump, and I've ripped open my hands doing pullups, I've cried and cursed during workouts but it's challenging and I can see changes in my body that you just don't get on the elliptical. I also bike, I like mud runs I've not been able to do either as much as I would have liked this year.I try to eat healthy most of the time, but believe their is room for cheating and beer you should always make the occasional exception for beer.I realize my schedule is complicated but I also believe in making the most of my time and that person in my life should be the type of person that can make our time together amazing whether it is staying at home or going out. I believe in affection and chemistry and sex, and just because I said sex doesn't mean every horndog on here should think I jump into bed a lot. It happens when it's right with two people. and I also believe in having common goals and interests and communication and trust and monogamy. If your diet consists of pizza and hot dogs and you're idea of exercise is getting off the couch when the battery in the remote dies we probably wouldn't get along.
